A word of warning on high-end nippers: The thin blades are fragile, so dropping them or trying to cut the thicker runner plastic can break them. You'll want to cut *GATES ONLY* using the middle or base of the blade flush against the part or just slightly off of it to make the most of them.

I am Brazilian and I love a lot of things related to anime especially when it comes to giant robots are my passions! first of all i would like to tell you that you are to be congratulated for your collection of gundams. second I love to see your gundams videos are amazing! I also use re-sealable plastic bags for spare parts (or even the kits themselves) but instead of writing, i also put in the bag a small part of the gundam kit box. Usually the side of the box where the name (and number) of the kit is visible.

Awesome collection :) You can try to print a mini poster per series that you can put inside the ikea glass cases which would be the backdrop. Or you can use some of your posters. You can assemble all Char related items on 1 glass case. At the middle you can recreate a fight scene between Red Comet & RX 78 with a galaxy photo backdrop. :) You can also opt to led strips as your floor level lighting per case. Looking forward for more origin items and hathaway pieces in the future. Stay safe as always :)

I am envious of that collection. The thing that sold me on your channel. Was when you said " It is relaxing to hear the model kits snap together" I feel the same way! It's so relaxing! We have similar shelves and what i did about the lighting is just used those super cheap off brand LED strips, like 5 dollars for 10 meters. Just do one side per shelf and call it a stylistic choice lol. Plus they all share the same remote so that’s less things to worry about

suggestion. put cabinet riser(Ikea Expedit wall shelves)on your detolf. so you can showcase more the lower part of detolf. maximize space on top. storage on cabinet riser.

LOVE YOUR COLLECTION!!! Would it be a good idea to put some sort of shelving underneath your row of glass display cases? That would elevate the bottom section to a higher view and you'd be able to put stuff in the shelving like empty boxes and what not. Just a thought. Always been thinking about doing that but don't have an amazing display room like you do.

I used to write in permanent markers on baggies of spare parts, but over time they've rubbed off. Now I buy address labels (The 30 per sheet kind) and print them to attach to the plastic bags. You can organize the parts in a filing cabinet type of folders, but I think your method is better for space saving. Organized Mess.

Super jealous of lots of those, regret not getting Full Armor Gundam, I do have the Psycho Zaku. But I may have some kits you don't have. One being a special coating Char Rick Dom, though I probably have just as many kits. I found for spare parts, at least for me right now is those screw etc organizers sold at hardware stores. I also use them for tools.

Very cool.. yes. those Ikea display shef are just perfect.. but the lighting are not easy to setup due to the different layers. You might want to consider installing LED strips and let it run down the rear side from top to the bottom at the corner on each side of the shelf.... can't wait to see the illumination shot... Thanks.
