UPDATED! How to Avoid Craters in Your Royal Icing Details

Since my last video tutorial on avoiding craters, I have come across an even BETTER method in preventing them when you have to pipe details over a completely dry base. If you know where this idea originated, PLEASE let me know in the comments! I’d love to give him/her the highest shout out ever! This is such a life saver when it comes to avoiding craters! So sorry to hear that! Piping over a crusted over base is always the top way to avoid craters, but this has been the second best thing for me, lol! I have to almost destroy the area where I intend to fill in with icing, though, instead of just simply poking a few holes if the base is fully dry. I know it’s frustrating! 😩
