*Updated* How to Grease Yamaha Hot Rod Rhino Primary Sheave & Secondary Sheaves

I have been working on clutches for over 30 years. Keep them clean and use a very light coat on primary bushings and light coat on secondary rollers. This guy is grease crazy 😜

Seems that their would be a note im the boxes that says you can use the one grease for both primary and secondary, or not if thats the case.

With the Ultramatic grease being almost impossible to find, is the polyurea grease OK to use on the rollers in the primary? Yamaha says yes- do you agree? Thanks

6669bj They can be ran without grease. He just recommends and uses grease on them to help the performance/friction of the moving parts.

Why Does Yamaha Use Grease in there clutchs, While Suzuki is completely dry for the same style clutch?

Looks like you are using a good bit less than in the old video. Also noticed this video uses the green grease as well.

So you use Yamalube polyurea on the shafts (collar) and ultramatic on the rollers? correct?

Never put any on the shafts or in the collar.. Yamaha Polly can be used for everything

+Diesel Freak Pearce after lots of testing he found out the grease helps performance and also aids in longevity as well as collects the dust which keeps from wearing the od weights
