this is a great youtube video - strong content, ignore distractions (dogs), good audio, and the video is short enough to keep us from losing interest. well done bro, keep up the good work.

Thanks for this vid! Was looking for this last night as doing my first service on an '07 Grizzly with over 5,000 kms and shop manual wasn't very detailed. Big help and totally agree with your philosophy of more is better on the grease, couldn't believe how dusty the factory grease was. Do you recommend changing weights with stock machine on 26" ITP Mudlites? Any recommendations? Noticed some small flat spots on the stock weights though still in spec (>29.5mm).

when I greased my clutch kit after getting it from you I watched this video three or four times and even paused the video in certain places and I feel I greased it almost exactly like you greaed yours but yet I'm having issues with mine and everybody that watches my little cheesy KZbin video says I have too much in it. is this still about the right amount of Grease for the 2016 grizzly and your clutch kit?

If you overgrease your weights/sheave, would you lose some top end and kind of max out on rpm's at certain speed? When I greased mine, I follow the video, but after installing I lose a few miles an hour on top end...? I have a grizzly 450. I'm thinking about opening up and just scrape some of the grease off, I got a feeling there is too much grease in there and it's keep the weights from getting full travel. Is this possible?
@WVHotRodRhino7 жыл бұрын
over greased will take away top end for sure
@bobperley36897 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I figured that, and I'm going to open it up soon and just scrape some of it out and keep a good layer.

just curios why you needed to greae the grease-less od weights?
@WVHotRodRhino7 жыл бұрын
cause it last longer and performs better than greaseless ...13,000 miles testing it

Have you ever installed a yamaha clutch or even seen one from factory. Lmao. It has a sheave cover with a o-ring to keep the grease in just to educate you a little bit
