NOTE: For those wondering about the shirking heals nerf, I still think that shirking heals will be a decent and viable build next patch. Without any divine, shirking heals will still heal for 2.5k HP every 10 seconds, which honestly is still pretty good. Definitely much weaker than what is used to be, but still viable.

@@delegadovaldivia1550 plagued crits got a huge buff so BIS might be that instead of alac punishment but it’s hard to say. Either way alac punish is going to be super strong next season

Can you explain when Healing Tomb is triggered? When the time is over, when the tomb gets destroyed or also when you leave early?

This is a really well put together guide y'all. Some 4k hours playing exclusively FS/IG and this is practically a copy/paste of what I play. Highly recommend anyone interested to watch the full thing through. As much thought as I've put into my build its why I still love watching these guides. Always learn a little something like that burnout into vines cancel. Ah man, I cannot wait till we finally have a respectable weapon artifact. That deep freeze is going to hit like a freakin truck. PTR i was hitting upwards of ~13.5k all crit spikes with alac+chilling end. Its INSANE

Pretty helpful vid for me to catch up. I don't have ahnk yet, but now that I know tomb benefits from it, I might swap it to my ice gauntlet. I totally agree about the spike perk change, its legit awful... It almost gets 0 value lol. Its legit useless and i hope they change it. Spike needs a buff to be honest. Its one of the hardest abilities in the game and requires you to use an other ability and perfect timing to get maximum damage, when other weapons can do very similar damage far easier like BB. Our IG Trees are completely different but our fs tree is the same. I think you made this video before the plagued crits change, but its a must have on the FS right now imo, i have plauged crits, alac punishment's and fireball and I'm liking it a lot, i also have alac punishment on my IG for fat spikes. I don't have full bis yet but I'm going a different route than you for gear, I do have some SH but i am also running more Ele aversion and more defensive perks in general. Ill try the 400 int split vs the 50 strength one and see how I like it.

ay glad it helped! ya i wouldnt really worry about ankh. idk if u have seen oceans peace for s4 but i think that is going to be better than ankh. few other changes for s4 but down to talk about that later when i get online XD

Very nice, soo close to season 4,, gonna save up seals and make a set then.. been practicing w all the diff artifacts that I run my bb with and the tumblers do feel pretty on par w survivability even w/o sh.. gonna dig up the old pvp rewards and give it a try.. got lucky and 1 tapped a vicious attune fireball staff.. lots of fun learning mage thanks for the guide!

I think my main question is would you change anything for wars? Abilities/armor?

@@Slambars94k it will depend on what role you are playing for mage. When I’m on a kill squad I think the gear I run is great. When I’m on a clump mage squad, you would probably drop shirking heals for fire harnessing. I would also switch out burnout for meteor, and entomb for ice shower.

tyty. it's definitely not bad. pylon is mainly used for chip and can also save you some hp just because enemies will be attacking the pylon rather than you. i just like spike more for the burst damage and imo it is much more fun

Great video per usual. I got into S3 late so A) do you think it’s worth grinding SH gear? B) without SH, would featherweight be better to get some durability, or still tumbler? Thanks.

I think SH is still going to be a very solid perk next patch, but I can't say for sure. If you are planning on grinding some named gear and slapping SH on it, then I would say it is worth it. If you are planning on buying expensive gear pieces with SH however, I would say hold off and save your money. As for featherweight, there are a few videos out there by other content creators that break down the math for if tumbler is better or if featherweight is better. If I recall correctly, they said tumbler is was better not only due to the fortification and heals you get, but also because of the empower. Also from personal experience, tumbler is just amazing for 1vX IMO, as soon as I started using it I noticed a huge difference.

@@TDFish-Rain I think feetwraps is heavily dependent on uptime but considering you play the exact style I do I can understand why they’re way better. My only Sadge point is grinding the daily seal to craft which delays it so long, but I’ll get there. Cheers.

Mages don’t get mana on dodges anymore you get 10 mana on crits

Craft with an inductor, trying to do it with a 2 perk seal has less than 3% chance

Big oof indeed. I think that shirking heals is still okay like 2.5k hp every ten seconds is fine but it definitely won’t be meta imo

I'm probably going to use SH for a while in Season 4 just to see how it feels, but if I notice that the CD is too long, my guess is it's going to be a enchanted ward, elemental aversion meta@@morfyzin

When u said it s easier to kill healers in s3 with fs 😮 ? Even warhealer that run 300 con 300 focus? They are rly resilient now !! Thx for the vidéo i learned more about my enemies weapons 😂😂😂

no not them XD i just noticed in opr against healers with 200 con ive been killing them a lot, alac punishment is mainly the reason for that since healers get a lot of haste. HAHA yw XD hope to see some more fire content from u

This build does very well in arena. If I could pick any perk instead of refreshing, I would probably pick elemental aversion. If you want damage though, fire harnessing is a very nice choice.

@@pavelsrg I’d try to get plagued crits on fs, I’m going to try to get SH, ele aver, health on my armor pieces, and I’d farm a good amulet to replace ankh as I’m going to use oceans peace for s4

If you don’t put fireball on your weapon you NEED it on an armor piece. So if you can do that, prioritize alac punishment. If it’s hard to fit in fireball on an armor piece, prioritize fireball on the weapon

@@TDFish-Rain Is it reasonable to use 40% void gem in FS and +2% void dmg gems in armor to boost GA dmg? I feel like everyone now using fire res gems, so maybe it boost overall dmg. Abyss does void dmg

@@Rooney323 id say thats a good idea! especially if you tend to use abyss more than the fs. ideally you could also put void harnessing on armor if u wanted to switch sh with more damage, and abyssal attunement on fs as well. that would be a very strong fs ga set up

yep! for wars, it will depend on your role. if you are in a kill squad, this build is fine. however, you if you are a clump mage, i would swap spike with ice shower, and burnout with meteor. additionally, for perks i would swap shirking heals with fire harnessing

so you didnt discuss pylon and flamethrower at all because they are hated so much and you dont want to play them ? Hope you realize how strong those skills are. Also the importance of stacking smolder with firestaff is huge

First of all I did discuss them, not for long but I did. Second, I didn’t get too detailed with them because I just personally don’t use them that much not because they are hated 😂 go back to the skill tree section and you can learn why I don’t use them
