This is such an annoying event. Thanks for the deathmark tip in tier 3. Tier 4 started out weird: long animation, then Mail gets first turn and kills Jar Jar, which ended the battle right away. Maul is also very tanky. I also just failed my first attempt in tier 5. It went okay until they killed my Gungans one after the other, in phase two. Gotta redo that battle. I hate this event.

@brietzke99 That Droideka in the second part of that tier was brutal. It would one shot Phalanx or just linger on until the shields went down and all was lost. In my successful attempt, it got exposed the second time I had the opportunity. There was no difference in what I was doing from the unsuccessful tries. It just randomly decided to go my way.

Thank you very much for this guide, I don't think I could've done phase 3 without it. Pro tip for phase 5, though: I tried 20+ times taking out the Driodeka first with no success. I tried taking out the B1 first to stop the heals and one-shotted the phase.

Tier 4 is currently bugged, Jar Jar isn't getting his 1000% evasion and as soon as Maul uses his AOE he defeats Jar Jar and finishes the attempt

Gungan Boombadier will always hit 5 times against Separatist enemies if he uses Special 1. So don't even worry about debuffs needed to apply for damage because you already got 1.

Also avoid using tarpals mark ability (3rd ability). It can work against you. Nodes when there is one enemy left or one enemy only, it doesn't matter.

Will say that this event was far easier than that horrible Dr. Aphra or Profundity event. Only had to restart tier 3 level 4 times to beat it and everything else was one and done but JJB did blessed me with his instakill ability to no avail against Nute.

I just wanted to point out that jar jar's basic can only apply deathmark if there is an enemy with 3 or more debuffs. I opened up with the boss nass buff dispel and was able to get deathmark pretty early in tier 3. Jar jar's big booma's ability also nearly 1 shots a droideka when paired with boomadiers protection disruption.

I pretty much do the same as usual! Do all my daily activities and check the shard shop, guild store, and guild event store multiple times a day when it refreshes! If there is a greater desire for a video I can maybe think of a creative way of doing so.

@@zeter_31 That sort of depends what you are doing.My crystals refreshes change depending on what I am doing. For example, right now I am doing 3 crystals refreshes a day for Master Qui Gon or if I am pushing really hard for relic signal data. However, if I am not farming a character or doing a big push on signal data I might not refresh it. I generally always do normal (yellow) energy refreshes until I hit 100 crystals required for a refresh. Same with ship energy. Mod energy I generally never refresh unless I am making a super big push. Conquest energy I do refreshes until 100 crystals are required. All this goes out the window if there is some special additive drop event or ship chase event where I will focus more energy spending on whatever the featured event is at.

I beat this event yesterday before you had made this guide. The first tier was actually the worst one for me and it set my strategy for the rest of the event. I had a personal vendetta against b1. I would always knock them down first and when it came to the droideka I would only do above the spell so he wouldn't get the massive hit. In the maul teir I only focused on buff dispelling his advantage because when he attacks with advantage he gets extra strength and he will kill you pretty quickly if you don't focus on getting rid of the advantage

The deathmark from jar jar needs 2+ debuffs on them I believe. Once i found that out, i was getting them more often. And you have to use his basic after he has blind increases the chance.

Jar Jar’s basic only has to chance to apply Deathmark on the Healthiest enemy if they have 3 or more debuffs on them. If you don’t time the debuff spam with the basic or forget to keep the Droidekas the Healthiest enemy, then you probably won’t get Deathmark on the right enemy (if at all)

Running through the event for the first time this go around, I couldn't get any exposes to land from Jar Jar on the phase 5 Driodeka when it didn't have any protection. The run I beat this phase they landed on the second Driodeka, but never on the first one through many attempts.

I got through the maul tier, I had to completely redo mods on them (following Xareth Prevails' mod video for the event, but erring toward speed more over his recommendations). And even then it took several more tries and good RNG. Now suck on the final tier... I redid mods AGAIN for this one but took a break before I try more as I was about to toss my phone in a trash compactor. Oh, and some forum posts said it's less bad on the PC version, I did finally win after changing to that, but not sure if it really helped (as I still failed once on there before getting it, with the same mods as I won with, so RNG is still a factor)

B1's provide their team a ton of offense and tenacity so they are very much a priority and most of the reason you may not be applying deathmark.

Of course not saying they are not a threat. But STAP and Droideka have to go down first. I have done the event several times now and always won that way. Also, regarding applying deathmark that cannot be resisted when the enemy has debuffs as stated in Jar Jar's basic ability. So B1 does not affect that.

Tier 3 is a pain. Keep spamming debuffs and keep trying to get Jar Jar to use his basic to get deathmark. 3+ debuffs his deathmark is irresistible.

You have to use Captain Tarpals' basic to dispel the buffs off the Driodekas so their nukes don't hit quite so hard.
