In this episode of Ford Power Force Tech Talk, we’re talking about Motorcraft coolants. There are two main types of coolants that Ford uses in its vehicles - conventional and hybrid organic additive technology. We’ll look at both types and help you find which coolant is right for your Ford or Lincoln vehicle.
We’ll also look at what can happen if you use the wrong coolant, and discover why “universal” coolants and additives are not recommended by Ford Motor Company.
In addition to coolants, Motorcraft also offers other Ford-recommended-and-approved cooling system maintenance products such a flushes and specified additives. Ford Rotunda also offers tools to help make your coolant fill and flush maintenance more efficient.
