I’ve never heard the temp and humidity can impact the oiliness of the cured prints. I’ve asked in groups about the oiliness and the majority say it’s the curing (even though they seem perfectly cured). In Phoenix so temps are high and humidity low. Our home is 78 and the humidity around 40%.

Hello. Thanks for the details in your video. I have a question. After wetting the cap station with cap solution, is it enough to just pull the head on it? Or would it be more appropriate to fully start the machine and lock itself onto it?

Just slide the head back over. When you turn it back on it will go through its normal start up process which will pull the solution through the pad.

So the wetting solution is to keep the capping station moist, not the printhead nozzles moist. Without the printhead locked in the home position, it is not in contact with the capping station, correct?@@ssvcustomtransfers

@clarkecunningham5259 yes it keeps the capping station and head moist. Head doesn't have to be locked. Just slide back over capping station once solution is applied.
