@@tsb3208, in my opinion I think red eyes needs a beat stick. We have dragoon but I personally feel scummy whenever I use it to finish someone(which is the only thing I ever use it for) so I think it would be nice just to have something to help with lethal.

Red eyes don't have brothers like blue eyes, he plays with other card which make it have potential, unlike blue eyes max power is restricted to 4k5 only, red eyes can go beyond it with set up, that is the real lore of red eyes

@@shaddowblack0279 well Dragoon doesn’t support Red Eyes in any shape or form, nor does fix the many issues that the archetype has. It just has “Red Eyes” in the name and that’s it. 😂

That's where you need to be creative. Not all the time Konami going to give us alot of cards for specific archetypes. Besides Konami given us enough Red Eyes cards. We just need one or three monsters that can special summon other Red Eyes monsters from hand, deck, or graveyard

@@kev50fulable it doesn’t matter how creative you can get if the cards you have don’t work well with each other. Konami can release a whole structure deck dedicated to Red Eyes, but if none of the cards is consistent then it’s all pointless. An example could be Lord of the Red, a level 8 ritual monster that can’t be searched by any red eyes card and doesn’t have red eyes in the name. I can make you a list of all the cards badly designed for Red Eyes but I hope you get what I mean 😅

@@arekkusubasu4483 They aren’t going to errata a card that is as new as alternative unless it is because it’s overpowered. There are some combinations of things that red-eyes can do decently that most people don’t realize. For example: since insight, dragon shrine, and red-eyes fusion dumps red-eyes monsters into grave, consider running necro fusion to make use of those monsters in the graveyard. Gemini Ablation is a newer trap card as well that summons a Gemini from deck with its effects. Since this is on a trap card, if your opponent activates an effect that destroys a red-eyes monster you control during their main phase, you can use the first effect of Gemini ablation to discard a card to bring out meteor dragon red-eyes impact so that the destruction effect fails. A great card to use for the discard cost is the black stone of legend as if meteor is sent to grave, when it comes back to your turn you can use black stone’s in grave effect to shuffle meteor back into the deck and then bring put black stone back into hand. Which since it is now your main phase you can discard that same black stone to activate Gemini ablation again to bring out either the meteor you just sent back to the deck, or any other Gemini you choose. Giltia the D. Knight - Soul Spear is also another hidden red-eyes support card as it allows you to discard a card to add a level 7 dark dragon from your deck to your hand. Which as you can see by this deck profile there aren’t too many ways to search out red-eyes monsters except by draw power, black metal dragon, and that’s pretty much it. And to answer the reason why Lord of the Red doesn’t work well with red-eyes is less because of synergy and more due to red-eyes just not being a ritual deck. All things being considered lord of the red has decent synergy as red-eyes insight searches the ritual spell while also fueling the ritual spell by sending a red-eyes to grave. Just the ritual mechanic requires a large amount of negatives to bring out the monster. It’s searchable with pre-preparation of rites which is more than what you can say for the chaos max cards. It would be a much more easily accessible card if it were level 7 as you could use high ritual art or advanced ritual art. An example of what red-eyes cards currently have synergy is red-eyes retro dragon, and red-eyes alternative dragon. There’s been cards printed that benefit red-eyes fairly well, they just don’t have red-eyes in the name. Some being piercing the darkness, mystical elf - mystical burst stream, cosmo brain, dragon revival rhapsody and many others.

I appreciate the advice, and have included some of those cards into my Link Evolution deck (Too bad Dragun of Red Eyes didn’t come out yet), but I can’t do this fully. I don’t rely that much on Link summoning. I find the mechanic convoluted and burns to many cards in a deck. Plus I’m using cards outside the Red Eyes deck to ultimately create a deck that supports the Red Eyes and Egyptian God Cards, and 5 God Dragon. Sure I have to add 60 cards in my deck, but it works well the way I set it up. I also think Aether the Evil Empowering Dragon works better than the other card. It can not only be used to summon MBCD, but it can also banish cards when summoned. As for cards I think would improve the archetype, we need a better Red Eyes Alternative Black Dragon. One that can special summoned by revealing one Red Eyes Black Dragon, then it can instead of attacking a monster burn the opponent for 2400 points. That way if you have 2 Black Fire Bullets, you can FTK your opponent. The archetype should get a Red Eyes Chaos Max Dragon that deals burn damage based on the destroyed enemy’s attack points. It definitely needs synchro monsters that support the archetype instead of the crap we got that belongs more in zombie decks. It made me even resort to using Stardust Dragon and Red Daemon Dragon. So those were all my thoughts. Looking forward to the next Yugioh console game so I can add Dragun, 2 Egyptian God Slime, and a Exchanging Souls to my deck.

I had to accept that i couldn't put dragoon in my deck since they are like 89 bucks a piece right now D: i was able to make an entire red eyes deck for around 50-60 bucks and i'm really pleased with it. I decided to use some archfiends instead of the dark magician and stuff for dragoon and replace him for some archfiend red eyes boss cards :3

I see Red-Eyes so I watch and LIKE. Just really don't like Dragoon... I don't like the Art-work, don't like purple, and I'm willing to admit I can't afford little pieces of "cardboard" like Dragoons, Access Code, Droplets, and stuff. Especially when I know they'll be reprinted in the future.
