As a avid Red-Eyes player I can confirm this deck is 100% consistent with getting Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon out in a round. I do not know why Monk of the Tenyi, Linkuriboh and Accesscode Talker are needed. In fact if you start with a Vishudo, Draconnet and Dragon Shrine you could easily make 3 Flare Metals, so I will start running 3 myself in place of the Accesscode Talker.

To out the board for combo two: SS zoo king alpha Normal summon any zodiac and xyz into the Bow and arrow zoo. Attack over dragun with alpha and directly with the zodiac. Xyz 3 or 4 more zoodiacs, and then go full AA Zeus to send the whole board to the GY. You’ll lose 2k total Lp, but you’ll break the board 123

I didn't know Verte could get around Red-Eyes Fusion Summon limitation. Or am I reading the card wrong to begin with? Because it reads "You cannot Normal or Special Summon other monsters the turn you activate this card." I thought this meant that you cannot activate this card in a turn after you have already done any other summon, since the requirement has not been met.

When you send “Red-Eyes Fusion” using Verte it doesn’t count as activating the card. And you copy only the effect not the restriction.

@@tokivanbeuller Card text can be confusing. To my understanding "costs" and "restrictions" (ex. "you can only activate 1 per turn") do not count as "effects." So when you copy an effect of a card with another card (For example using "Diamond Dude" to copy "Red-Eyes Fusion") the restrictions and costs are ignored. Hope that helps. I get confused about card text too.

Through verte anaconda you only play the effect of red eyes fusion to fusion summon. You never "activated" the card so the restriction never applies. Verte merely copies the effect of fusion.

Hey Sam! I got a question about the second combo with predaplant verte anaconda. One of Red-eyes fusions effect is that you cannot special summon or normal summon the turn you use it. Wouldn't predaplant verte copy that part of the effect too? That means you wouldn't be able to pull the dark Dragoon until next turn, please let me know if I'm missing something.

True, but he already has a lot of editing in a lot of videos, and as long as you can read the name of the card you can find it on Konami's Database, TCGplayer, or wikia. It's usually a problem for channels with LQ videos or go through videos too quickly. I'd say it's necessary for Rulings videos featuring like 5 cards or so, but 60+ cards per video it would get redundant. Timestamp the card in question and someone will likely respond.

Its a Worse Version of a Tier 1 Deck so sadly not

So some might think Dragon Rulers and Spellbooks both are since both dominated in 2013, but actually neither was inherently Tier 0 because only one deck could become Tier 0 every format. Instead, it's based on percentage of topping events: 65% or more - Tier 0 15 to 65% - Tier 1 5 to 15% - Tier 2 1 to 5% - Tier 3 Less than 1% - Rogue www.pojo.biz/board/showthread.php?t=1306276 So, sorry to say this, but all Legacy decks will probably forever be Rogue, and Tier 3 at best, even if they can somewhat consistently make huge boards or break them. Consistency is the most important thing to major events, and they inherently have bricks in the form of older cards, which detests many meta players. The only possible Tier 0 decks I can think of are Zoodiac, Nekroz, Pepe, and possily Dragon Rulers because I think Spellbooks either underperformed or got hit harder on the banlist. It's a popularity contest, nothing more. At least Rogue sounds cooler than Tier 3. Personally I love the theme. This is the Sam deck profiles I missed. Little curious on some card ratios, mainly why you're running a 50 card deck when it seems like there's some fat you could trim off. Again, acknowledging you're a better duelist and building than I am and more asking why rather than accusing of anything, why the three darkwurms when you simply want to pitch them via shrine? And while I do see the reasons for playing imperm why rocky boi in the main over another hand trap when the point is to combo off turn one?Also I love Vishuda, it was just that in my experience he was dead in my hand more often than a live resource to use so I personally cut it for more Noctos. Still though love the deck again Sam and this was the deck building I missed from you. Please keep it up. Wondering what you're planing for Blue-Eyes, if you plan to at all, after doing Dark Magician and Red-Eyes

Not quite. Since it was used as an xyz material, it is not considered as being on the field. Because of that, when it is detached, it’s not considered the same card so it doesn’t return to the deck. it is no If it was used as a fusion or synchro material, it would still go to the bottom since it’s still considered the same card dark steel revived.
