Hello Derek. What do you know about the special 30th anniversery edition of the KIA Sportage? Any chance you could do a review on it soon see is it worth buying over the regular K3?

Glad to see the improvements (and have your confirmation that drive feel has improved). With the fast charge and range tweaks, the XC40/C40 line will be even more appealing. On the "charge complete" time, I think it might be accurate...that last 5-10% is a bear and it might be the one thing they didn't fix. Don't fast charge to 💯, Volvo fans!

Nice review. I like much of this except for ; *Transmission tunnel making this a 4 seater. Next week i'm taking 4 adults on a one hour drive. Couldn't get 3 in the back with that with any comfort. *The screen with those ugly ventilation sliders next to it. I could overlook those if it wasn't for... *The Price My current EV has automatic regeneration mode like this (along with specific levels). I tried auto for five minutes. Hated it. Who wants to slow down unpredictably?

@@NevoEVReviewIreland hard to know. I've looked at the ex30 (too small) polestar (too low and don't like the cockpit) model y (too big) so I'm waiting to see what comes next. Maybe the Kia EV4 which a Soul lookalike (or is it the EV3 I forget which is which). I'm in no rush now I've taken the substantial depreciation hit another year with the same car (Kia Soul EV) is a solid financial decision plus it's a good car with great range.

One thing to be aware of, YOU CANNOT PLUG A USB STICK in and Play Music files without downloading AUDIOWAGON, yes it's STAGGERING Volvo don't support audio playback in an APP of their own. And to top that EVERY TIME you switch on you have to confirm twice in a POP UP so that the usb device can be used. I came across this when I bought my C40 and EVERYTHING WORKED !! Then guess what... VOLVO upgraded the software AND REMOVED THE FACILITY TO PLAY DIRECTLY FROM ANDROID !!, this happened 2 weeks after I bought it, LIVID ain't the half of it !!

Rear wheel drive better in every situation? 😂 Yea not in the snow tho. Rwd is just for the feel, fwd cars are cheaper to manufacture and maintain and are way better in the snow.

Only for fossil cars because of the motor in the front (weight). EV have a Battery in the middle and the c40 has also the motor in the back. It is much easier to tune an EV electronically, so RWD is better in snow then FWD (EV only). The best is by snow is AWD.

now the Chinese product is good ? a real brainwashing i have a 2022 electric Volvo with lot of problem , change the battery under warranty and now the éléctric motor is very noisy, leak water inside like a pool, rust underneath , i will never buy Volvo again ,

Sorry to hear this. The C40 is an European car. Designed, engineered and tested in Sweden, produced in Gent (Belgium). Then new RWD motor is engineered by Volvo (more efficient and more torque), no more chinese construction. But i understand your complains. I drove two years a Polestar 2 without any problem and i will get the 2025 C40 end of June.
