I hope that people know that heat trained is just a nice way of saying heat damaged 😂 relaxers break the bonds that make the hair curly and so does the overuse of heat. Just like how people can have thick relax hair that grows because they use protein treatments and deep conditioners to help keep their hair healthy a person with heat trained hair does the same. The difference is that the heat damage is even distributed throughout the hair and the person utilizes products to keep their hair moisturized and protein products to keep it strong. Saying that someone who heat trained their hair isn't damaging their hair because it looks nice is like saying someone who constantly tans isn't damaging their skin because it looks good and they moisturize

xshesyourqorqeousxx3 thank you everyone trying to say that her hair is ok but in reality when you black people put their hair under water they should have a curl pattern it doesn’t necessarily mean her hair has to shrink but she should have some type of curl I bet you if she was to cut out heat for a couple of months and wash her hair her roots would be puffy no one is trying to come for her hair because it is beautiful and thick but it doesn’t seem like it’s in its healthiest form whether straight or curly

i wish people would stop saying that she has "heat damage" damage means hair is breaking off and not growing. Her pattern has changed as a result of her chosen style...just like those that color their hair have a change of texture...just like those that braid their hair constantly could have an altered or thinned texture. her hair pattern is different than what it could possibly be "virgin"...but her hair is obviously healthy because it is obviously growing. Her curl pattern is stretched out from tension and heat...but that doesnt mean damaged...damaged means broken and her hair isnt broken. it bothers me that people cant just let folks do what they want without NEGATIVE comments. @lakiastar you popping...you been popping...you gonna stay popping lol

Have you heard of the 'chase method'? It could cut down your flat iron time and make your hair even shinier, silkier, and flatter, but it looks good girl 😊 keep doing you. I know a lot of people (natural girls) are giving you a hard time because you flat iron your hair but it's a stylistic choice just like weave, wigs, braids etc. so bump them. HOWEVER, if you ever wanna wear your hair naturally curly hit us up because obvi we have tons of advice to give #shadethrown love you!!! 💛
