You did a disservice to grim. Mine is lv8 and attack speed is buffed to 20% and movement speed is 9%. It’s a solid A gem when you consider any damage you do stacks this buff.

P&C is at best C tier.I play Crus, and my build was P&C/FF/HOPE/BSJ/Lament/Pain Clasp/Starfire/Seeping Bile, and I needed room for a new gem Void Spark. So I did a lot of tests, replaced each 2* gem one by one, and it turned out that the best result was a build without P&C, and the worst one was without ML. The problem with this gem is that it increases the damage of only one thing, either the default attack or skills. Even in the case of this game where you actually turn on the skills and spend the rest of the time attacking with the default attack, if the default attack is your main source of dmg, and you happen to come to a moment where the dmg skill is increased, you only lose on it.

agree. for crus echo shade or voidpsark help farming as well. even being attack seems to proc spark and maw deep. berserker is way ahead of p n c. though drop reso. it gives main and all class summons buff included. p n c only got one skill or primary and only main. yeh n i think spark spread bile and pain clasp dot buff too.

Good list! I'm using the Fervent Fang, Power & command, Mothers Lament and Pain Clasp gems right now on my barb. I recently added the pain clasp about a month or so ago - I do feel the damage increase using it. Edit; with perm WW now viable P & C is a less useful gem, I find myself not using primary attack as much, maybe something to get rid of in the future.

Followers burden is a great gem but since it can't be used with all classes even a tier is a stretch . Ignious scorn deserves s tier and grim rhythm deserves a tier .but I agree with all the others . Tbh if you are going to change classes at any point , I would avoid using any gem that is class specific . I would also avoid using any gem that is situational like bloody reach or cut throats grin . i agree with ur list quite well but the ending i find quite harsh/abrupt. i think "using" should be situational instead. As in PVP gem difference and build differ. For def, cruz barb, battle guard respite and exigent echo, black rose etc is quite very effective. Even Top 3 leaderboard in my server is using it in "situational" but i don't think they should quit the game. as well - it depends on individuality on preference on permanent in gem use or situational flexibility. If an Individual had a reason or flexibility to be in situational or even using 2 star gems like Kirsling with Chip stone and find effective etc. i think it's quite alright. other else, your list is quite a good ones.

Power and command on a sader is pretty strong when you hop on horse, since it replaces primary attack and if you are using the light horsie you are gaining 100% of what the gem has to offer.

not sure about s tier but could be. i believe the move speed came from The Hunger gem. Now the hunger doesn't give move speed it used to and change to attack speed buff instead.

I'd move mother's lament and grim rhythm up a tier and fervent fang down a tier. Otherwise very agreeable overall.

regarding the mother's lament. in pvp, the gem bonus is only 0.4 of its power. this gives approximately 12-13% CR. Vithu has no effect on him. only reforging and chest/pants bonuses can extend its effect. Is it really worth using it?

in pvp no. not worth. gloom guide straight crit 22% and save slot. cutt throat after nerfed is still more reliable than lament in pvp. in pve. lament for me as necro summon is Top Tier. if lament is 5 star gem. it be my Top1 for pve, still now 2star it's hard to find any better. reso aside.

Tough tier list but heres my opinion 3:07 B tier, not for all classes. 6:46 S tier, 6s is a bit fair for no downtime on inc dmg. 7:12 S tier, it stacks with 4pc vithus, flat additive aspd stats, and further boosting your animation attack speed max at 24% with no cd. Besides that, I would agree on your other gem tiers.

Need help.. I thought the Battle Guard gem is good for overall defense and I made it to Rank 5. 😭 Is there anything to do.. like if I sacrificed it to another gem, will it go to the same rank 5?

save it. personally both as necro and barb main battleguard is my S tier IN pvp. due to move unhindered if my low life and escape with Pet savior to heal. Aside, reso n magic find 10per rank5. if u don't plan pvp then drop it. Could u share ur class in instead?

Followers is D at best. Summons are useless in PvP and as you said PvE is easy regardless

For summon-based builds in PvE, it's considered best in slot. Necromancer, Demon Hunter, and even Crusader are getting impressive damage numbers. Auroth has showcased it multiple times, and summon-based DH PvP builds also work well with it. Anyhow, its primary strength lies in PvE for summon builds; it's a top pick.

Agree. Doesnt work for me as necro, probably a or b tier. Bloody reach buff main n all and higher buff dmg per. I would drop Follower before i drop Reech. but if necro don't find Follower good as summon ,it's probably quite not much of good overall or they could rebuff higher dmg of the gem to be class specific. now it seems dormant.

@@bbbet5896 yeh i think they should rebuff it to 28% or 32% instead of max 18%. they did that with Replacing The hunger rank5 moved speed buff to attack speed n swap buff to introduce Grim Rtyhm for the move speed. i think they could re-spec Followers too. especially almost all class having summon new build. re-newing the gem would make more sense.

Hey how is the legendary crest counter works. If you get a 5 star legendary gem (A Legitimate Draw) will the counter reset or it will only reset if you don't get a legendary gem in 50 try.

So after max 50 used orange legendary crests you should get a 5 star gem. When you get it the counter resets. You will get 5 star gem sooner or later but 50 used orange legendary crests will give you 5 star gem. They say purple leg. creat pity drop is different, but for me its the same (50 max). I count used crests, Im f2p so its important to me and Im bored :) so I know. Sometimes they also have a bug for drops (or some weird blizz pity) . In November Howlers call dropped twice in short time and my friends had drops with howler at that time . Recently I got Phoenix drops.
