On my 2010 Zr1, yellow top no problems, however I did have an original starter that was bad and killing batteries. I swapped starter with a strong high torque and now no drainage at all. Here in Texas as well.

Yeah that's exactly what caused me to replace and stuck on road. It was a bad starter cause of headers not Coated yet. I went with duralast gold being only option at auto store. Been told it could be causing this if not the fuse box issue I found. So replacing just to be safe. I've heard no issues on output of yellow top and it was definitely one of the highest used in forums for sure.

Optima is not what is used to be. They are now made in Mexico....They do have a lifetime warranty. but most of the ones that have them have had to use that warranty.

Ah that explains it. Good info on the lifetime warranty. Yeah I heard they just aren't the same battery on quality and how long it last.

I Stacked a second OEM HX My temps are fantastic at 740wheel. 2.45 upper.

It looks like that's all this lmr HX is. It uses stock connectors but seems twice as thick.

Do you have a Diagram or drawing how the supercharger flows through the intercoolers? I have an LT5 Engine project I’m working on. Can figure out how to run the cooling lines to the pumps

there’s a reason I didn’t show that 😬. Mine was a little different from stock. Mine seems to flow through the side D3r aftermarket tank through the pump then through the lower side of the LMR heat exchanger then through a stock bumper expansion tank then through the top of the heat exchanger then back to bricks on supercharger then repeat. The LMR heat exchanger on mine is weird. It’s like it’s two stock heat exchangers they stacked and flows through separately. I’ll eventually get rid of the side d3r expansion tank and LMR heat exchanger. Go with a pro speed bumper mount expansion tank and either their heat exchanger or if it will work a katech. My tuner recommended the katech just cause it’s specifically made for this car and most are just universals you make work. Hope this helps… let me know you need more info.

Hey bud I just bought Kong reinforce bricks and the inlets for my zr1 , I’m gonna install my self , we’ll I plan to lol . Where do get the black coolant hoses that run from the blower to bottom ?

Did you find out if that expansion tank on the bottom left corner was stock by any chance ?
