Updates on the Loft house: Our Tiny home is almost complete !!
I embarked on Building a small cozy Tiny loft house for myself to make a Home. This was one of the most challenging decisions of my life.
The House is at 80% completion if I estimate. I have lived in this house with no electricity and no water. It still had holes when I started living here and now it's so much better.
The costs of building a house in Uganda are something I had underestimated and that's why it has taken me a long time to accomplish.
My heart is filled with gratitude for everyone one of who has been a part of my journey and still continues to support me. The journey is far from over.

I believe that is called a carpet rug if I'm not mistaken!! Love the red color! It complements well with the white floor tiles n walls color scheme!! Don't even think about getting rid of it. Congrats on another milestone!! Its been quite an odyssey!!

By the way, please resist the temptation to add too many accessories to the house because it can make the space look even smaller and give the impression of 'clutter'. With small spaces less really is more. A few accessories strategically placed are all you need! Just my opinion though.

Hey Lynee Zaabu omwana womuka. I have watched this work from the start and i am proud of you and how far you have reached. See what the Lord has done. However a few quick suggestions: 1. Pick a theme colour for your loft - That Red center Piece against a deep red chair is a mood killer. 2. I love the Glass concept and for cleaning, you would obviously need a step ladder 3. While i understand that you are still using some spaces as storage, i would prefer you declutter the kitchen and leave the essential gadgets to give that lofty sparkle feel. 4. You need some planters in some spots of the house - at the stair case landing and some spread across - Green plants are magical and they improve circulation. Otherwise good progress and proud of you omwana wowaitu Tooro.

Thank you so much little sis,to God be the glory for the beautiful achievements dear one, I personally depending on my opinion and self feeling, I think you should just get a contractor and dig for a water shardoof or well at your home then you connect only into your bathroom and kitchen only for shower together with utensils reason being I hate inside toilets however much I love luxurious lifestyle. Your house looks lovely, been following from day 1. The downstairs rug makes the place pop! - so keep it. I'm wondering how you'll clean those glasses (mirrors) when they get dirty, and hope they are "safety glass'. Well done, you've ended up with a 5/5 place.

The glass wall looks nice. Consider purchasing a telescopic aluminum pole, which functions like a telescope and can extend or retract to reach the desired height. You could pair this with a glass cleaning wiper and applicator; Chinatown might be a good place to find those. In the future, you might also think about adding curtains to provide some privacy in your bedroom

Lynne Zaabu,that is called a rug, but you will need to put stable tape at the back,so it doesn't move and slide when you walk on it, as a rug on a ceramic tiled floor is extremely dangerous. Rugs are safer on carpeted floors,so it doesn't slide when one walks on it and sends the walker falling. Suggestion: Rising Ladder are not going to be advisable in the stairs areas, but you can get extendable mop brush and bucket to do the wall cleaning safely,as you will be firmly staying on a safe ground to do the cleaning. That's my suggestion, but the best probably would be you get a professional cleaner to do the high wall areas, once or twice a year. They would have their safe equipment and would have been trained on how to use them, have indemnity insurance for their business. Check they do have insurance to cover them and your self and your house, so you know if any breakage occurs from them, they would compensate you for it. Ensure their indemnity insurance will also cover them and you for any accidents while on your premises ! Well done for how far you have gone in almost completing your house ! It looks delightful. ✝️🤍🙏🌹
