Second, how did you manage to get a vehicle with keys, brakes, functioning fuel system, starter, functioning cooling system and floors?!? I didn't think that was possible! I've watched many of these car type vid's and they can get a bit boring n repetative but I'm glad I found this. Started watching when the man rescued a rusty old dero Chavelle, got it running in a motel parking lot n drove it 600 miles home with a chassis held together with Duct tape and a floating front end, gotta say I was kinda impressed and subscribed to see more. Now the tips n tricks of a budget spruce up made me grin n taught me a trick or two, all good, I'm watching more. Cheers for that.

Love the trash bags for wheel grinding. I made a brake bleeder from a plastic water jug and some air hose fittings. Put it online to show my friends and they thought for sure it was a bong! I also made a smoker machine from a paint can. I am sure you can do all that too but I am a retired 56 yo woman that used to sell real estate and have loved all my hot rods as a kid. I am still looking at the 69 Super Bee. Its orange and looks line Dukes of Hazzard ride. They guy wants 29 grand and it has that electronic dash like I saw you bought for that Chevell. That was holding me back but now I might just buy it if its still available. Thanks for all these demos. I love doing this stuff myself. I am contemplating painting my 95 Trans Am myself. Got all the equipment and more that I need. I love Harbor Freight too. U break it they just give u a new one. Home Depot is not that friendly!

I always steam cleaned the engine and waxed cars that I wanted to sell. I liked how Derek cleaned and repainted the rims. It's also important to do regular maintenance while you own a car People can tell when a car has been treated well.

Vice Grip Garage steam Ginny would clean those brakes up and any other dirt with out the pant . Pressure washer does ok but a steamer gets everything without the work .

I use trash bags to line an old laundry basket to hold the paint tray while painting my home. Saves on a big mess and makes it easier to transport! Awesome idea for the wheels!

For the chequerplate on the bumper I use a small sponge and dab the paint on and it gives it a really nice ripple effect and makes it easy to cover. Thanks mate

Love your videos! So much inspiration. I'm 24 years old and attempting to restore a 88 Mercury Cougar Xr7. It's got the typical 302 leaky rear main seal and I about threw up when I saw she has 4 catalytic converters still. She's actually in great condition though, 85k original miles on the motor and the interior is all there and original it's got the red leather and "premium" sound system. She needs painted and a dent or two popped out but watching your videos gives me much motivation!!

A lot of people don’t like the 80 because of the headlights. But I don’t mind them. That’s a super nice square. I’d love to have that.
