I used to work at a pharmaceutical plant. We made several different drugs, but the big one was a synthetic cocaine. We had 3 Russian scientists and one of them owned the patent for it. One of my previous jobs was literally synthesizing cocaine

A large condiment factory I worked at cheats a lot with their recipes. Or rather, the labels on them. The cheap no-brand ketchup vs. the expensive one with a brightly coloured label? Chances are the content is the exact same, made on the same machine. ("But the ingredient list isn't the same/the cheap one has tons of E-numbers and the expensive has none...") Yes it does. The E407 on the cheap one is the same as the carrageenan on the expensive one, the E270 on the cheap one is the lactic acid on the expensive one, etc. We as customers have been 'trained' (for lack of a better word) to scan the ingredients list for E-numbers and many E-numbers = bad and cheap.

13:41 I don't really understand this one. If the hard drive is destroyed, why do they care what happens to the rest of the hardware? It just seems pointlessly wasteful, especially with how much evil there is in the supply chain.

Worked in a large chain restaurant. Our "plant based" chilli and burgers taste just like the real thing because it usually is 😂. When we run out of the plant based stuff we just used beef.

Isn't that Illegal?
@jimathybindlenim6359Күн бұрын
@lightsidesoul We've never had any complaints. Quite the opposite actually, the chilli is really popular
@lightsidesoulКүн бұрын
@@jimathybindlenim6359 Not what I asked. I asked if it was *illegal* to lie about what ingredients you're using, not if anyone complained. It is, by the by. Because there are people who cannot have beef, for religious reasons, such as Hindus, and for health reasons, such as someone with Alpha-gal syndrome. And anyone who's made a significant change in their diet, such as Vegetarianism or Veganism, can tell you, after a decent amount of time without meat, eating it again can make you sick.
