A story went crazy at my school that some high school boy groped another high schooler (f) on the bus ( context my county is super small. The one high school share buses with the middle school) as they were getting off at the middle school. Her story didnt add up. And he was literally holding his pack, waterbottle, jacket, and separate bag when he apparently groped her. The principal reviewed the bus camera video.. principal said that the boy had to a fucking magician to grope her while holding everything along with having over twenty other kids saying they didnt see him touch her. Turned out she wanted him to cheat on his girlfriend, he said no.. now if you bring it up she starts fake crying and her friends will attack you. ( it happened in my sophomore year, she was a junior) She straight up tried to ruin this dude life, schooling and literally everything. He was so freaked out. Now when I see him he just nods cause I was part of the few that took his side. Just didnt make sense how he did it

@@paxhumana2015 people are always going to lie. Good morals being taught never worked because bad people who do wrong won't just do every bad thing except lie. Tons of people got murdered or convicted on another person's lie. Keep cameras in public places, and even personal cameras are useful for a reason. Police lie too. Record them planting drugs and not following your rights and you're saved because the court is always going to believe the police over a "criminal" without proof otherwise.

What's even worse is actually getting pregnant in order to trap a man in a relationship, because then not only is he not happy, but she's also bringing a child into an unhappy situation.

A guy working in HR. I spoke to him a total of 3 times on separate occasions. In our first time meeting, he was friendly. The second time was a year later on a phone conference with him, my boss, and one other guy. He yelled at me while my boss was silent. The week before that call, I messaged my boss about my doctor's appointment dates. He didn't inform the HR department in time. It came up as unexcused absence during my appointment dates. HR guy thought it was his right to yell at me and make sarcastic remarks. I provided the doctor's excuses notes shortly after the phone call. The third time, was another year later. He acted like he didn't know me and then brought up my information in mid conversation. He definitely knew me and had my information in his head. I supposed he didn't think I remembered him. I kept my distance from him afterwards. I spoke to my boss, now ex boss b/c he got transferred, about HR guy. He confirmed that it was HR guy who was on the call.

So I try to give as much detail as possible so that as many specific details as possible can be verified.

Company I worked for had real issues with morale, lots of complaints by staff. Eventually complainers had enough and split to make own company and I went along with the guys who promised things would be better. New Place was dour and had real nasty attitude. Only one deputy manager made it bearable. When she went on holiday I saw how miserable that place was. When old company offered former position Ieapt at it and amazingly without the complainers it had become a really friendly team.

Similar to 13:00, I got a lead on a sublet with more space and cheaper rent, and I made an appointment to check it out. But I kept seeing two wildly different names on the emails I exchanged with the lessee. Something seemed off, but I decided I'd still honor the appointment. Just before I went into the complex to visit the lessee, I noticed a woman walking her dog. I'd heard that asking current tenants about apartments was a great way to find out about things the leasing office wouldn't tell you. So I asked the lady to tell me a little about the place, because I was considering subletting an apartment there. Lo and behold, she informed me tenants weren't allowed to sublet; the leasing agreement expressly forbid it. I went back home and emailed the guy I'd been talking to about this info, and he never responded.

Exactly. I wish my parents had listened (but heaven forbid I have anything that may paint my mother in a bad light... ANYTHING.)... numerous NUMEROUS teachers suggested I get tested for autism. Parents FINALLY claimed to agree, took me to my PASTOR who told me to stop listening to the devil. Told school a psychiatrist said i was normal, just lazy. I was 40(ish) when finally diagnosed. Yes. On the spectrum. How did I get through school, years of therapy, etc, with nobody else catching on? I became a chameleon... mimicking what was going on around me. Still can't look into eyes - it's like lightening bolts shoot through me, its literally painful. So, to torture me (train me), i had to look in my mother's eyes when talking to her. Did I? No. I learned to look at her eyebrows, and I do this with everyone. So many years wondering what was wrong with me, why couldn't I be more normal? So many struggles that, with support, I could have overcome quicker or found easier (at least, less painful than the beatings I got for "being out of line") ways to manage in a world full of neurotypical people.

My first job out of high school was with an MLM/Pyramid Scheme. I was so excited that I'd gotten my first ever job,. It was Fall 2020, so like the middle-ish of the pandemic (god willing lol), so I was desperate for money. Took two days off from college and missed essential classes and shit for two ALL DAY TRAINING MEETINGS that were miserable. Realized when they had us calling family and friends to recruit them or have them buy product that it was time to get out. I was suspicious from the start, but again, I needed the money. Never got anything, lol. Just gonna stay in my field of study when it comes to jobs. No 'wonderful opportunities' for me. EDIT: Eyyyy vector marketing in this vid! Kids, run far away from the group interviews. Honestly, that was my first red flag, but I went with it anyway.

Lmaooo a couple of weeks ago I got a letter from "The city of Mcallen" (neighboring city) telling me they had job opportunities so I assumed maybe some sort of minimum wage job working for the city, but the letter was super sketchy after reading it again and again. So I give it a chance anyway cause I needed a job so I sign up on some site of theirs and receive a text from them giving me instructions for a video meeting. So I go to the damn video meeting a couple of days later and that's when I have this lady speaking like she's trying to sell me something instead of a normal work interview. So at that point (about 30 seconds into the chat) I'm already convinced to not join them but I stick around a bit see what the other people are getting themselves into. So once I had heard enough just turn on my mic on my PC and I tell the lady it's a hard pass for me on their little scheme they got going on and leave the video chat

It could very easily be the fact that the information presented could be an explanation on what certain things mean, as to prevent unneeded questions. And technically, every story is rehearsed, otherwise the story wouldn't be a story, it'll be a random collection of thoughts that'll sound like nonsense. Again, doesn't necessarily equate to guilt. Susan Smith. She told police her two young sons were kidnapped by a man who stole her car with them in it. I was watching a press conference with my mom and aunt and uncle where she and her ex-husband were pleading for the boys' return. The distraught father went first. When Smith said her piece, I called BS and said she knows exactly what happened to those kids, her body language was all wrong, etc. Everyone was shocked that I would say that about a grieving mother. It was no surprise to me when it came out she'd killed her two little boys herself.

I was suspicious because I worked as a law enforcement dispatcher at the time, and knew that the BOLO (Be On the Look Out) given would have certainly turned up the car by then. Not to mention that a black guy driving a car with two white kids would have set off a lot of red flags with anyone who would have seen them.

I had one story from Reddit itself on r/frugalmalefashion. The short of it is they wanted to setup a crowdfund to buy unbranded clothing from whatever the clothing equivalent is to an original equipment manufacturer, so they'd get J Crew, Gap, Banana Republic, etc. clothes for cheaper. I pointed out the potential business/legal risks with that and got downvoted into oblivion. And sure enough 5-6 months later everyone who invested their money got screwed by the shady people involved.

At the height of the pandemic last year, my state had about 2-400 cases in a day MAXIMUM and the other day, we had 900 in one day. And no one wears their masks anymore 😰 and only about 30% of the population is vaccinated. Why is it I see 99% of people without masks then? 🤔 and the restaurants aren’t making sure a people are 6ft away or anything either. No windows, no masks (ig since ppl are eating), no social distancing. I get anxiety attacks.

The first one: That's a common modelling agency scam in small cities, my sister get suckered, getting "urgent, last minute" calls mid afternoon for the same casting calls listed in the morning newspaper. When my teen self pointed this out she called my jealous. Even then that so-called agency missed some publicly advertised casting calls. Can't remember the monthly agency fee she had to pay. 21:16 I remember that one. At first I thought the news wasn't reporting the story properly, because it didn't make sense. I think cps became involved after the bs discovery, something to do with her home life as to why she lied.

I'm an auto mechanic and some girls brought in a 2007 Dodge Nitro that needed new trans cooler lines since the old ones were rusted through but when I told them why they were dumping a quart of transmission fluid into it everyday they said that another shop did it for them. I took a picture of their service report and I took a picture of the trans cooler lines with holes leaking said fluid looking like they were about 20 years old. If I remember correctly, my mom grew up a JW. No birthdays, no Christmas, not even Easter. By the time she was an adult and later pregnant with me she decided “No, I’m not making myself or my daughter live like this.” No problems. I lived about twelve years before Grandma passed away and was lucky to see her many times before then. She even flew up from Southern California to be there for the two weeks I spent in hospital care as a baby. We’ve celebrated Christmas and Thanksgiving with my Grandparents and extended family many times. I suppose different branches of the cult react differently to people leaving. Although, I remember a JW magazine coming by every so often to chat with my mom and leave one of their stupid magazines on our porch. The ladies were nice, but I think they stopped coming by because COVID. (The magazine is called “The Watchtower,” if memory serves me well.)

I got recruited to sell Cutco when I was a desperate 18-year-old. They make you pay about $90-100 for the sample set you will use for sales pitches. Then you're supposed to start with friends and branch out to new potential customers via their referrals. I quit after about a month. It definitely is an MLM, had all these motivational meetings with people claiming they made tons of money. When I quit, I kept my starter set of knives, and they are actually phenomenal. I've bought a few in the years since. It's strange that a scam-style company would actually sell a legitimately high-quality product.

It sounds like authorities agreed that you shouldn't leave windows open during a tornado, but the idea isn't "the stupidest thing I've ever heard". The thought is that doing so will equalize the air pressure in your house with the air outside. Apparently, this won't really help enough to matter in a tornado, but air pressure differences between the inside and outside are a real thing and are accounted for in the design of buildings.

Get to the basement (go outside, down wood then stone steps, around corner, open stubborn old door...) Front door did NOTwant to open. Finally, managed, got teen son, hubs and self tmdown to basement door. Hubs and i struggled for 5 minutes to open the door... and i looked up snd saw a tornado forming above us. Thankfully, it didn't hit - it ended up removing about a mile-long swatch of trees and a vacation/hunting cabin that was unoccupied. That was the day I realized... air pressure can be some SERIOUS pressure. And... I also started paying closer attention to my gut instinct. I still think, even with the "miss" of the tube of wind, if we had been upstairs, things would have felt way way worse. As it was, my son had quite a few PTSD episodes (and had therapy to help him process, so he's much better now) from the fear & trauma - he had been trying to get me to look up at the clouds and I couldn't hear him between us trying to open that stupid door & all the wind. I never felt his hand gripping my shirt, either. In my mind, he was where I had placed him... behind a heavy iron table we had set up to be used on sunny days when doing laundry down there. I had no idea he saw the clouds & was trying to warn us. I still carry guilt for that, but I keep trying to forgive myself for "in the moment" having tunnel vision.

In fact my father had to hide his hearing loss from his first tour of Vietnam to get back into the Army after he got out. Think of the timeframe. Vietnam was a period in which the military was hated. Hippies would attack, spit on and harrasse military personnel. My father was persecuted by his girlfriends parents one time because they found out that he was military. So yes it is possible but due to the updated paperwork of the military in Vietnam era and the attitude of civilians at the time, this is most likely a case of stolen valor.

I remember when I was working at a restaurant there used to be this creepy looking guy who would give toys/only talk to kids or female co-workers. From the very beginning I did not trust him at all, because interacting with only kids and females felt like a huge red flag. Turns out I was right, because according to my manager, he was harassing people, and my ex-friend told me about how he continuously bothered her. This is long, so I’ll just put the tldr here. I was scammed and realized at the last minute. Unfortunately I realized it was BS when it was already too late, so idk if this qualifies. But I was in my second year of college looking to do work study through the school. I got an email from an “employer” that basically stated I only needed to do errands for them and they would send me the money to complete these tasks as “they were out of town”. Keep in mind I never had a job before, so I didn’t know how interviews or anything worked. I was sent a check in the male to complete these errands, but first I had to deposit it into my bank account. In the meantime, my “boss” for whatever reason didn’t have access to their funds atm so needed me to send them $800. My school had refunded me the remaining loans I had after covering my classes, so I had $1200 for transportation, textbooks, etc. Idk why I believed this bull crap so much, but I wasn’t aware of scams and what they tried to do to get you. So far, I’d only had experience with scam calls trying to get me to buy tickets for cruises 🙄 So, when I was told to go to Walmart and send the money through Western Union (🤦🏾‍♀️), I was none the wiser. However, because the line was so long, it was taking me a while. My “boss” began texting me back to back, and I noticed they were using emojis and spelled some words wrong. But I brushed it aside and kept reassuring them that I was in the line and getting closer. Then, when it was finally my turn, I had an issue with transferring the funds and had to send my sister money and have her send it back to me a certain way (it was all very long winded and taking more time basically). Again, my boss kept blowing me up back to back until finally I was able to transfer $808 (there was a fee) to the account given to me. I then texted one last time that the funds were sent and all of a sudden my bosses mood changed. They sent me a smiling emoji and thanked me. It was at that moment that I started to feel like something was wrong (like wtf why the hell was my gut feeling so slow???). I then texted again and asked if this was actually real and received the message that “Yeah I’m totally legit” from a supposed professional CEO… My heart literally dropped when I read that, but it wasn’t til the next day that I responded saying I now knew this was a scam and told them congrats they stole money from a broke college student then promptly blocked them. Not that it mattered anyway. Their fake check bounced of course, so I had to explain the situation to make bank to get them to unfreeze my account then told my dad and step mom what happened. They both basically said there was nothing that could be done, especially since the address given to me was based in CA and my piece of crap college basically quickly covered their butts by sending out an email the next morning warning students to watch out for fraudulent emails pretending to be job offerings… fml Edit: Btw it didn’t help that when I told my sister about the job, as well as her best friend who was in the room too at the time, they were just as excited as me and were even a bit envious 🤦🏾‍♀️I could have also been saved from this on my way to send the money, but I didn’t go into detail when my dad asked about the job as I was getting ready to head out the door. If I had explained everything, my dad said he would have told me it was a scam. But stupid me was irritated that he was questioning me (to put it simply, my relationship with my dad was strained and one of my triggers was him questioning my decisions) , plus I already called for an Uber.

She was literally yelling in all caps "SHE'S A WIDOWER, SO LET'S PRAY FOR HER TO ROT IN HELL!" - Now, I tried my damndest to convince her that she was wrong *BY QUOTING THE BIBLE LIKE SHE SHOULD HAVE CONSULTED,* and she just ignored me that God is about *LOVE* here, and she said with the laziness of punctuation and spelling that only either a lazy or badly supported 13 year old could achieve, "god h8s liars like u ur weak im strong" (that's as close as I remember, no punctuation.) She blocked me, kept shitting on everyone, and I later checked and saw that her account was suspended. Oh, and that night after she blocked me, I dreamed that I was in the basement of a Church with some 13 or 14 year old girl, and she got Blue Battery Acid on her hands. I moved her to the sink immediately to wash it off, put her hands under the water, and she dissolved before I realized what happened. I somehow thought of the word "Vitriol," and then I looked it up. It could mean something acidic, or it could mean harsh criticism, like she was vomiting over everyone; either one fits, and the dream perfectly explains symbolically what happened.
