Well the original sequel of the lion king was bad enough, god forbid they make this one. To be fair Disney is running out of ideas given the fact that they are remaking live-action, serious versions of their original animated classics, and they have ALL been DREADFULLY ABYSSMAL! Cinderella-yuck! Beauty and the Beast-double yuck! The Lion King-triple yuck! and so on.

Compared to the live action remake, The Lion King 2 is a masterpiece. I think people hate on it simply because it’s fashionable to hate Disney sequels. We get to see Simba as a leader and father and how it’s a learning experience for him and eventually his perseverance is rewarded. Also giving Scar a family gives him a new dimension and all the characters are excellent and have their own unique appearance and personality.
