the fish waste is not enough for healthy plants, i did it for years, you still have to add minerals and you need a goo bio filter to keep the PH right. The cleaning is never ending. Mosquito larva in the grow beds is an issue also. Plants are not meant to feed people, we need meat, red meat is best. I have not eaten a vegetable in over 6 years, waste of time and money.

The title is not misleading. He simply explained all of the varying levels and options available. Some people are interested in growing for themselves and not making any money, others may be interested in selling systems like he does and make a lot of money, others may do it to support their community and do their part to combat the true violence that are good deserts. This whole video is beautiful, thank you so much for sharing and not gatekeeping this information 😊 your ambition and positivity are infectious.

Doesn't it seem like there's always been people that have been around turning gardening into a business? There's boxed mushrooms, garden books, microgreens, specialization in varieties of single species (figs, dragon fruit, etc.), market gardening (probably the most realistic since they're at least caring about regenerative practices and designating areas for insects even), 'become a millionaire selling eggs' scheme (I am definitely not advocating), selling gardening tools and gizmos, animal husbandry, industrial farming, etc. Tons of options out there peeps. The sad thing is that it seems like these types of profit-driven ideas fizzle fast when so many people buy into this mindset and then realize the competition that's out there in two years (in some areas aquaponics is already largely saturated too). It's not to say there's not going to be 1-2% of people that wind-up filling a need for their specific location where this happened to not already exist. But, I just want to give some people another viewpoint.

And also clay pebbles are full of aluminium and probably other toxic metals. If the plant you are growing is a biomediator, meaning it absorps all minerals not just the ones it needs, you're gonna have very toxic salads... @@vikramkoodoye1418 Yes you got electricity bills for pumps, airstones, heaters, you need PH- or PH+ and relatively expensive nutrients. I love the concept but all the profit and low time input talk is highly misleading. You would spend lots of hours trying to find customers. Grocery stores are not buying pdroduce from non businesses due to the liability, and random neighbors are not dropping $5 a pop for some lettuce.

This is why you need to know a few people that you know would buy your things before starting a business

Neighbors aren't random if you socialize with them as well. Grocery stores would definitely not buy from these people unless if they had probably 10x product since people are always buying from stores.

Vandana Shiva always says that there is no food shortage if we grow our own garden. The proof is right here. Thank you for covering this. 💚👍🏼

Can we grow tomatoes and peppers with this system? How feasible is that setup for such huge plants?

At 4:36 he says his wife found a 5 gallon fish tank then says right after it was a $5 dollar fish tank with a couple of goldfish. If he lied once then he'll probably lie again. Like throughout this video. Theres no way hes selling a lettuce head for $5 thats ridiculous.
