Upgrade Cables for Blon 03 and Tin Hifi T4 (Tripowin Zonie and Tripowin C8)

Things that I have purchased during the Black Friday sale and what should I do to make the Blon 03 sound better. We look at some cheap upgrade cables.

Hays, but iv been looking all over for the right replacement cable for my blon 03, so far iv ended up buy 3 derfrent cables, each order took about a month to arrive at my location and non of them fit on my earphones! Im so frustrated. But this video has really help me realise and understand more about cable, wish i watched this before i ordered the replacements. Thank you!

Great review by ya Arion...i got into iems in march a 2022...now i 7 iems..4 with fixed cablez, 3 with detahable..bought the tinhifi 3 plus, cca cra, , cable on the t3 plus, is acctually pretty good, the cca craz, sound fantastic, but the kz cable is like having a coat hanger , down ur chest and into ur pockets..smh..no big deal...Just wanna thank you for pointing out the difference in size, with the zonie and c8..took my cable off my 3 plus, and put it on my cca craz...not in sound, but comfort and how your cord/ cable/ is a big factor...before i saw ur video, on these, i was looking at the faaeal hisbiscus cable or the tripowin zonie...the t3 plus cable is only 4 core, and i really like the fit of it on my craz...so my delima, is, do i purchase the hisbuscus, or get the tripowin zonie...whatever one, is goin on my tin hifi 3 plus iems...anyway, ya shed some light on the c8 and zonie thickness, i dont need the cable to be superthick..i wanna be able to take walks with em...i just wonder is a 16 core, that much of a difference..the hisbiscus izza 4.2 or something core...great review by ya...peace

Good to see someone else that hears differences in cables. Pure silver cables change sound so much for me that I have a hard time understanding the non believers. Going from 3.5 to 2.5 is a bigger change to sound than the cables though

I think the foam will add more deeper bass to an IEM. I think c8 is worth it.

@@arionsreview2294 I bought spinfits and dekoni foams. Spin fits dont isolate noise as good as foam but bass hits deeper. I know, I thought it'd be backwards. The foam dekoni fits snug and all but the bass is like 3-5% less believe it or not. I have blon03 -> spinfit tips -> yinyoo cable -> ifihipdac w/bass boost on -> laptop with win10 runing qobuz 24bit hi res audio. The best demo tracks for deep bass I did A/B with are: Post Malone - WoW (specifically 36 seconds into 38 seconds) the bass drops to the lowest there and deknois dont get that low as clear as spinfits. Post Malone - On The Road ( 11 seconds - 18 seconds) spin fits get DEEP here more than WoW track... but lets dive lower... Best track for wow factor with blons + ifi hipdac + spinfits is this one: Hans Zimmer - Live in Prague - Gladiator Medley. (0:00 to 1 min mark) stead rumble...leading into 1:24 mark ...gets deeper... then wait for it... 2:22 - 2:24 mark BOOOMMMMM. Dekonis dont dive deep like spin fits here. Tips are both great but only in very very specific track instances is one better (basshead lover) than the other. They're both cheap and can be bought in single so just get both.

@@razetw do you believe upgrading 3.5mm cables improves sound quality (however balance cables definitely improves) but let's talk about 3.5mm are they worthy upgrading?

@@dileepswaero5264 I have balanced cables and not a single hard to drive iem like original tinhi p1 planar iem. I honestly hardly ever go balanced and stick to 3.5 that I can plug into my 4 or 5 other dongles just fine.

Apparently Slater from head-fi/audioreviews found out that there's a vent on the port of the BL-03... that the stock cable blocks with its pin shielding, so I wonder if the zonie is great as an option that doesn't block the vent (and yes there's a good chance that most of the sound improvement comes from the zonie not blocking the vent, the other is from being balanced probably). I don't have a balanced source so I guess I'm going for a 3.5mm 2 pin .78 zonie.

Amazon sells YinYoo 8 core (and higher core) 2pin .78 connector (rounded hook or hang flat down versions) that fit perfectly on blon 03s for less money than tripowin. I also bought the kbear 8 core (over ear hook design) 2 pin .78 connector for my wife and they fit fine and are even cheaper. I A/B them both and cannot tell the difference. I thought I'd prefer the yinyoo drop down design but I actually prefer to wear the blon+yinyoos upside down (ala hook loop design) for a better fit and comfort... so in essence I prefer to use the cheap white kbear 8 core hook style cables for the best comfort. Im sure tripowin c8 is good but some reviewers talk about having to sand down the resin. Yinyoo and Kbears don't need any of that and are cheaper. 8 cores dont tangle, 16 core is too bulky for my taste but are there if thats your kick. My setup is laptop qobuz 24bit + ifi hipdac + blon03 (spinfits + kbear 8 core 2pin .78mm) Killer setup for a bit shy of $200. Worth every penny.

Hi There . I need to tame my HZSOUND Heart Mirror lower treble/hi mids . low to mids quite neutral and i love it . that means i need to go for pure copper . but i have friends wanted to send me either Zonie or C8 2.5mm-2Pin. as it will be given free i might just accept it . my question is. which should i choose for better quality or quantity of bass & mids .. if it will deharsh the highs its a bonus. since my HZSOUND scales/improve in sound with preamps/dac . so it must have a noticable different in even changing cables.

I would say that if you don’t mind the extra cost. Go with the c8. There might be a delay with orders now because of the virus. As I have ordered an IEM and it is not sent yet. Which is understandable.

Yes a big improvement. Especially if using the 2.5mm since the Ak players have more power there. However I also get people saying that cable make no difference at all.

What's your opinion for the T4 with the c8? I have the t4 with c8, and i also bought the t3 upgraded cable when tinhifi offered it but it's not arrived. I probably should skip the zonie ya?

What IEMs do you personally prefer, tin t4 or the BLON BL-03? Another question, what kind of bag came with the BLON, a long sandbag kind of material bag, or a small cloth bag, or a black bag?

Dude you got to condense. 20 minutes to get five minutes of prudent information is to much. Reshoot and get this to under 10 minutes. don't repeat yourself ,and get to the point. You just keep circling the topic. it makes it hard to watch .work on putting your talking points together before hand .then stick to them .dont go off on tangents .name, specs, likes, dislikes ,recommendations and final thoughts .is all you want or need for a great review.
