tip to reshape the earhook, use an solder iron. to just soften it, ofc you can use lighter, just treat it as heat shrink, but just be very careful not burn it . (i use kapton tape first). not saying you should do it in this video, but just give out tips for ppl have problem with cables that doesnt have metal wires in it. or you can cut off that rubber shrink and put on your own heat shrink and embed wire in it.

The problem with the BLON cable is not the BLON cable, but rather with the geometry and dimensions of the BLON lobes themselves. I am actually using the BLON cable with a KZ ZS10Pro without any problems. Why? Because that IEM was designed right as far as fitment goes. BLON, SCHBLON.
@VortexReviews14 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. The ZS10 Pro and the C10 both share great fitment and I might try the Blon cable on it.

I find that the Yinyoo cable is a better fit with the BL05 than the BL03 and the normal 8 core 2 pin 0.78 like you said is a better pairing with the BL03.

I stripped that plastic wire from the stock cables, and the reason why it is so stiff is because there are actually TWO of them sticked one on top of another, so i had to remove one layer first, and then the second beneath it. So stupid..
@VortexReviews12 жыл бұрын
Such a poor design.
@inceptionsd2 жыл бұрын
@@VortexReviews1 yeah, but now i have a perfect fit with stock, silicon pads. Removing those earhooks was IMO the main reason people struggle with the fit. Its not because of the short nozzle or bad tips, Its the orientation of the iem connectors. When worn without the cable, i realized that connectors sit at around 11 o clock/outward, but with cables its forcing the iem to go more like 2 o clock inward, hooks make a problem because then create leverage on your ear, forcing the iem out.
@VortexReviews12 жыл бұрын
@@inceptionsd I agree that that they did force them out my ears but I have a bunch of cables around as subsitutes.I think people have had issues with different cables and he short nozzle was giving them trouble.

Blon Cardinal is overall beter than 03 - EXCELLENT L-shaped supply cable, MMCX connectors, EXCELLENT fit - NO FIT ISSUES AT ALL, excellent tips set, nice storage box, soundwise - they probably share the same driver, but Cardinal is a bit more airy, soundstage is better, wide enough but not deep in both cases. Sounds surely but not drastically better. Is this an upgrade soundwise? I would rather cal it IMPROVEMENT. Given all abovementioned 2x price difference to me is fair. All this considers those who dream of Blon and only Blon. BUT... ...BUT here comes Kinera SIF with excellent supply package, with excellent fit, for 30doll. Soundwise it's very close to Cardinal - a tiny bit less bright, a bit warmer, with better lower highs, with more or less the same microdetails, soundstage is wider and way deeper.... ...CONCLUSION ? Up to you, guys...
@VortexReviews14 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the info. I looked at the Cardinal but I don't think it's worth twice the proc of the BL-03.
@sergiymarchenko10024 жыл бұрын
Vortex Reviews Not soundwise. But if you count all advantages of all-inclusive Cardinal's package... For me the only thing that matters is sound quality. Thus - finally SIF, not to mention D6 with way larger marge...

Vortex Reviews Yesterday I've decided to give Blons one more chance. Result - SIF is a CLEAR winner. In-depth sound quality is better - the "taste" is different, more refined, both ends look more extended and it's HOLOGRAPHIC (!!!). Blons are NOT... Actually Sif is my surprise of the year among 1DD iems, sort of revelation. Back to Blons. Finally I'd rather call Cardinal an upgrade. High end is a tiny bit more extended. Low end is much more extended - now it can suit even bassheads. It's 10-15% louder. The rest is pretty much same. Given that plus build quality - rather UPGRADE. Yes. You know - there are only 3 points that matter to me. In-depth sound quality, fit and build quality. For the rest - if iems are branded, unbranded, half-branded, hyperbranded, underbranded, sidebranded etc. - I don't give a sht...

I’ve been using cables exclusively with straight ends as they allow the cable to clear the front of the ear to get the loop. With the way most earpieces sit in the ear having the cable facing forward at an upward diagonal is the only way to clear the front of the ear for proper fitting. I bought the Kbear QDC cable and will not be buying any more. It goes on my C12 or ZSN PRO or any of the sets that do work for me with the plug facing straight ahead. I would prefer for things to go back to non recessed and flush plug jacks.
@VortexReviews14 жыл бұрын
I prefer the flush connectors as well. There was no need to change it.
@Assimilator7024 жыл бұрын
Vortex Reviews Yes I’m with you. Having the extra gap between the connector jack and the 2 pin connector used to bother me but I don’t care anymore. I just installed the Yinyoo upgrade cable on my ZSX and its amazing. Not sure if there’s a difference in sound but that combo is a knock out. It really does approach BLON level of performance. And the fancy cable makes the package more high end. Highly recommended when they’re on sale. They were just $15 during the last sale. I got mine for $13 for the brown cable. Waiting for the next sale to get a few more colors. The NiceHCK upgrade 16 core cables are the same except for different end plugs and Y split but for some reason the price doesn’t dip below $20. We’ll see what happens during the next sale.

@@Assimilator702 I have never tried the ZSX as it is meant to be extremely similar to the CCA C12 so I did not buy it but I am glad you are enjoying it and with nice cables. @Vortex Reviews The ZSX is much better than the C12. I find the C12 fatiguing and overly aggressive in the treble while the ZSX is much closer to neutral and a pleasure to listen to. Don't let the similarities lead you to believe these are the same earphones....they are not. ZSX is the best that KZ/CCA has ever released. V90 are great but the C12 are a pass for me.
