Upgrade Front Suspension | G-Body Build Series | S1E5

Join Dustin and Ramey in the UMI Race shop as they transform an old 1978 Cutlass into a weekend warrior with cruising capabilities. In this series they transform the old, worn out, factory suspension with a UMI Performance Stage 2 Handling kit. The UMI Stage 2 handling kit is the - bolt-on and go - way to improve handling and performance. It gives your classic car a modern feel.
In this episode the team gets to work installing all the UMI Stage 2 kits front suspension products on the Oldsmobile Cutlass. Along with the stage 2 handling kit, they also installed UMI’s Bolt-on, Front Reinforcement Brace (PN:3053). The reinforcement bar allows you to tighten up your G-body’s chassis. The suspension wasn't the only thing updated on the Cutlass! Also featured in this episode was a new pair of Forgeline’s RB3C forged concave wheels!

I am currently undecided on upgrading my g body with which suspension upgrades I should go with. Watching this video I would certainly lean towards this upgrade but some feedback on performance and results would certainly help me decide. Specs on tire and rim size and ride height before and after the upgrade would be great benefit towards my decision.

You say it won’t work with a grand national stock location intercooler but about front mount intercooler?

This company never shows videos of shimming or of thier adjustable upper Arms being actually adjusted- probably because it is a science project to rip the entire assembly apart 1 million times for knt hair fine adjustments...
