I'm glad you liked the mod, great video! About ocean platforms: - The "closed" accepts walls directly on top of them, without the need for a foundation; - Along with the 3 ocean platforms, came 4 floating foundations (straw, wood, metal, tek) - It is possible to build at the bottom of the "Cage" - In the ASE version of the mod, the "Cage" accepts gates without the need for a behemoth. This will be added to the ASA version in a future update

QOL+ has a lot of the best aspects of S+ such as resource pulling, nanny, gardener, and farmer to name a few!

yeah, but there are still many structures in S+/SS the QOL mod have not included, i personally miss the item collector, or the accumulator.

@@kennethborg2054 while that is true, the game so far is still in its early stages, so there's still plenty of time to add all that stuff eventually. For now though, that mod is a welcome quality of life benefit that I, as both a console player and a PC player greatly appreciate 😁

QoL+ is S+ in ASA as far as I’ve seen. Down to gardener, farmer and nanny thus far (no hatchery yet). Obviously still WIP but it’s even got the pull system already.

Hmm kinda wondering if you have sneak peaked on the mods i am using TBF, i do not use all of them, cus well some of them are just to OP. But yeah i also miss S+ but mostly the foundation stacking. pain in the A.. to level out the base vanilla style

Did you wipe the dinos after installing the mod? Then, new dinos can spawn with the altered level distribution

This is the right advice. Make sure you run a wipe. On a server you can do the INI options, but on single player even the default has improved the levels a lot.

Yeah Ive done a Dino wipe and all seems to be better and started to notice higher level Dinos so thank you both, sadly though I don’t think Xbox has access to ini settings so there’s not much else I can do but the Dino wipe has helped massively so again thank you both

You missed the best part of D+, glass structures that are clear glass and give greenhouse effect, and have high durability, unlike vanilla greenhouse.

Got dinocloud on Xbox doesn’t seem to beam as yours does and the “retrieval” process doesn’t show says “no Dino’s found” yet when I throw a cloud node at a Dino that I want to save or have “saved” yet I still see it. It’ll say “already uploading” or the green “uploaded!” Text. Might be bugged with Xbox but seems to be no luck here

i only play single player and i can not get the mods i loaded to work, they tell me to click the activate button but i can't find one...i did find a button that said unblock all mods and that doesn't do any thing.. any suggestions? I mainly looking for larger storage...its unreal how many i have to have right now. Thanks great video but above my goals right now

They are simple structures that float on water, 100% independent of other things in the game (that's why it works without Genesis 1). If you remove the mod/bug, the worst that will happen is that your house will be floating in the middle of the sea.

I can’t for the life of me find where to craft Dino cloud storage or terminal or node or anything - in game - online - wiki - just nothing. Going crazy - how do you actually get the terminal? Engrams? I got nuthin.

Hey TBF just a question about building is there a way to activate free build at all? I have a half built base but the game won't let me finish as it is telling me "cannot build too close to supply crate drop location". I have great big holes in my base as when I started building I could place everywhere and got all flooring base pieces in place and all walls with most of the second story flooring and ceiling in, then I ran out of pieces, I went to get more mats and when I got back could no longer build anywhere due to above warning.

What mode are you playing? (Singleplayer, private server, official, unofficial, etc). It sounds like you just need to change a setting, I just don't remember what is is called off the tip of my head. There is a setting that determines whether or not you can build near specific resource rich areas or, on certain game modes, you cannot block other players from accessing loot crates/beacons by building near them and you may have that setting enabled.

Allow structures at supply drops I think that is the setting you need to change

To add to what everyone else said, also enable drops to land on top of structures. So it doesn't inhibit their spawning.

The Dino cloud has a dumb mechanic. You need to craft a node, use it to upload a Dino which uses the node, you never get it back. Then you need another empty node to pull the uploaded Dino into and when you throw it you loose that node as well?? Why???

You can adjust how strong it is, typically it can't do that many upgrades. Once they finish patching it, it will be a lot more balanced
