Uploading in 1080p a video comparison of two 4k Camera. WHY?

Great point! We were running both cameras at 1080p & 60fps for this comparison, even though 4k is an option. Our purpose is to empower online presenters, business owners, educators, trainers, and those with a calling or ministry to have their own home office studio. Having done work in 720, 1080, 4k, and 6k… we’ve found that in 98% of applications 1080 looks very good. Now if we were a video production company… yeah, 4k would be expected. And we have tremendous respect and great relationships with a few studios who we currently refer business proposal at that level. What we’ve found for ourselves and our clients is that the sheer size of 4k+ files makes it very difficult, expensive, and time consuming to upload, edit, render, store, compress, post, and otherwise use.

Hi, some reviewers claim it can only do 30fps at 1080p. Can you please confirm? I’m planning to get the 2C. Thank you in advance!

@@lego2370 Both the Link 2 and new Link 2C use the same half-inch sensor of the original Link paired with a 26-millimeter equivalent f1. 8 lens. Video captures still max out at 4K at 30fps, with the ability to drop down to 1080p to boost frame rates to 60fps.

I record in 1080 at 60fps with this camera. I find that going to 4k on any camera or broadcasting software produces files so large they become unmanageable… expect for in certain conditions where the extreme resolution matters.
