Well that’s the first I’ve seen that for a 2nd gen. Pretty cool, that would be perfect for a switch panel for accessories/lights. Good stuff 🤙🏼

I just ordered a new Gen 3 Tacoma TRD off road manual transmission and am hoping to get one of the last manual transmissions before they stop making them! I can't wait to start customizing my truck and I have so much more confidence after watching these videos, thanks again!

Just installed...I cut sections of Noico sound proofing instead of spray painting inside my truck and I used smaller washers for the eye nuts...I didn't want to cut the wire harness so I rigged up something else...Too bad there isn't some kind of plug for that connection...Glad I found this product.

Here’s an idea, would be cool if you had a section of molle panel that could reach back and connect to the rear cab overhead molle panels that many tacos have installed.

Very cool. There's a gladiator molle panel that can go up there for the Gladiator and Wrangler I've been thinking about getting. I need places to stow stuff now that I installed my RAM mount on the dash. I can just imagine molle bags hanging down and completely blocking my wife and I from looking at each other. Maybe on a long road trip that'd help. 🤣

@@KFloTacoma Yea I'm regretting not getting a USB C chargeable radio. Those base charging stations the handhelds come with aren't practical for a dashboard. But at least it's a pair so we could talk to each other. When I start getting out there more maybe I'll pick up the Baofeng.

Now question for ya. You have 35in tires on your tacoma, any issues with a slight shake on the highway? I've got 31's and I've been trying to trace a shake for about 6 months now and I got nothing. And for reference my tacoma is a 2014 but same model as yours. TRD sport.

No shake on my end. I have the ECGS bushing mod done. Do you have a lift kit or any suspension mods?

Hi Bill, what do you mean by "the rest of the opening"? I'm not understanding. Hi Bill, if you're talking about all the small square holes, those are for positioning and mounting other accessories. If you wanted covers for them, we can certainly make small covers for the square holes

Are the mollie slots big enough to put toggle switches in ?

Hi Scott, the small slots are about .26" x .76" wide but the rectangular slots are about .9" x 1.2". If you're, buying the standard 12 volt toggle switches from Amazon, they require a .5" hole. I can design an adapter plate on the rectangular hole so that you can use them for the toggle switch. If you have any specific toggle switches you're looking at let me know. I can add a few adapter plates to your order for free.

Great to see new mods for 2nd Gen Tacoma! My 2013 has compass and thermometer display on the rearview mirror, So I Shouldn't need bracket but I have stock overhead lights. Does this kit come with the LED's you show in video?

What are the dimensions of the compass hole? I was thinking about ordering one of these and mounting one of those Auxbeam 8 gang switch panels. I don't have a temp/compass in my Taco.

For my 2nd gen, the map lights don't turn on when the door is ajar. Only the dome light in the middle of the cab. Your OEM map lights come on?

Just a thought, never EVER cut wires right by the harness. Give yourself an inch at least just in case you ever decide to reconnect that plug or even reuse it elsewhere. Love the concept, but I’ve wrecked myself cutting a plug short before.
