This is the smoothest moving hopper I've seen so far. Just perfect. Most sound like a cheap plastic toy when they slap the ground. Excellent work dude!

This is the most realistic I have seen yet!
@MonsterPartsRc2 жыл бұрын
you should do the drive shaft mod... real hoppers hop in neutral so that the wheels can get under them and they hop smoother... these can hop just as smooth if you file the teeth off the last inch or so of the male half of the drive shaft, so when the rear is fully locked up, the drive shaft disengages and the car hops in "neutral" and when you lower it down (Just a little) the drive shaft teeth re-engage and you can gas hop and drive it normally

I might have to try those shocks on my 1979 Monte Carlo

this actually was easier set up than the scale look shocks. scale look took some time to figure out good spring set up, these was easy

So you left out how to mount the upper part of the rear shock , what’s replacing that ball joint screw on the servo arm???? Everything else is great I appreciate you 🤙🏼
@NorthSideCustomRC2 жыл бұрын
My bad, with the stock arm I just forced a m3 to thread through until I switched to alloy arm n the m3 threads in it.

We used to make our own out of 1/25. This is neat idea, but it takes away the build.
