I think eventually you will kill those subs in that box. I thought that I was okay with it too until it put a hole in the foam from rubbing on the seat bottom.

Do you know why this wouldn’t fit in an hd truck? I took the measurements and everything seems like it would fit but all of those style boxes says they don’t fit in the hd trucks

​@@tylerensley5504 i have the same damn truck as you and i hate how there isn't any room under the seats. I've just been riding with big dual 12 box sitting on the seats itself. So no room for anyone to sit in the back. I hate it. Need to find a good box for behind the seats!

I also have a HD 2007 Classic. These boxes fit no problem I have one myself, they only say it won’t fit because non HD have those air vents and that’s why the box is shaped like a T while HD trucks don’t have them, they only say that I assume so you can find a different box with more air space. But if you want go ahead and order those boxes, THEY WILL FIT

I put a 2 in foam strip across the top of speakers so seat hits foam not subs..4 yrs non-issues..hope it helps out

Skar audio. search for vehicle specific enclosures, loaded.

If the owner see this the subs are gonna go out due to that seat. The installer is responsible for the damage being caused to those subs.

🙃 I'll make sure to show the owner this comment! System has been installed for almost 2 years no issues owner loves it. Thanks for the comment tho and the owner knows the risk because with these trucks there isn't many options on the market for a box without being custom. He also wasn't happy with other shallow mount speakers on the market at the time from a budget perspective he knows they touch and is ok with that risk years down the road.

I know I'm not this guy, but yes I think it would work. The only thing is I ran an under seat box that was the same way but eventually wore a hole in the foam.

He’s got the sealed box which rubs way more actually. No issues with rubbing been doing these installs for 10 plus years never had any issues. Under the seat boxes in these trucks are pointless
