Upgraded to LED Flat Panel Lights in the Shop
I always had issues with my shop lights on cold or humid days. So I decided to upgrade to led lights. I used the led flat panel light versions and adapted them to replace my shop lights easily. And in this video I show you the before and after as well as how I installed the led garage lights.
If you are on the fence about upgrading to some new led shop lights, I strongly recommend you make the change. It can be a difference of night and day.

WOW, Made a Big Difference! I noticed you left the old lights hanging. So could you remove the LED lights and hook up old hanging lights if you ever moved your shop to another location?

That is a possibility. But for now I left them up for a few weeks to make sure the new ones are working well.

I did this in my shop with LED's that were configured like standard florescent lights. I don't know about yours but mine are designed that if they burn out (slim chance I know) I have to replace the entire unit. Is that the same with yours?

Yes, each fixture is a complete unit. But hopefully with 50,000 working hours, they will not burn out any time soon.

Seems too bright. Also you have alot of shadows.. also ballasts are so 2019 bruh, join the future. Switch to ballast free lights, one less thing to worry 'bout breaking. Personally I'm looking favorably at a non-shunted fixture for T8 G13 for Philip Bulbs at 5000K daylight with both PWM and Voltage dimming tech.
