Great video and information, I am still debating on buying a Amazon Firestick 4K Maxx with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of SSD storage as opposed to a ONN 4K box that has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of SSD storage.

Has anyone tried one of these boxes lately in Canada. I tried one about a week ago and It wouldn't allow me saying it was restricted to the US only. Yet I tried one about 4 months ago and had no problem.

What can you do about the volume , having to adjust the volume to up all the time is getting to be a real pain(especially if you are watching a movie, )i don't have a sound bar ,it's strictly from the tv speakers.

In case you didn't know? Putting your device into apps only mode while great it didables the Google assistant or voice search.

Now you can go back over and fix that the only one problem is the Google Assistant doesn't work right with KZbin it won't do a real search on KZbin it keeps on saying oh it came up and it's right there in front but you click on it it says sorry can't go to the link.. I think it's a built-in infrastructure that Google did on purpose not to work with KZbin like that with the assistant.. no Alexa on the stick she works real nice real nice with KZbin

The fire stick is part of Amazon ecosystem. I can use the fire stick and the Amazon recast which is a DVR to record programs for later viewing. Also with that combination I can be anywhere in the world with a good internet connection and see my channels and play back my recordings. I can also set new recording times. If I lose my remote I can use my phone to control the fire stick.

You're using an Onn box in Canada? You can't buy them here. I was thinking of asking a friend of mine, who's parents are in the US, to pick one up for me, but when you look at Walmart US, website, the description of the device says US only. I couldn't get a straight answer if this box works in Canada. Which one would you recommend? I don't have a 4k tv. Thanks.

Why are you buying a Wal-Mart brand device off Amazon and paying more than double what Wal-Mart charges for it? Sticks are $14.99, boxes are $19.99 and the pro model is $49.99 and that isn't fully released and couldn't have been what you bought. The problem is that you likely bought a box that already had issues and wasn't new.
