I’ve owned this keyboard for quite a while now and the last couple of years it has spent its time sat in the attic gathering dust. Over time the spacebar in particular drove me crazy with its incredible about of rattle and wanting to upgrade my setup I decided to upgraded to my first mechanical keyboard, but many of you may still be using a membrane keyboard or are simply interested in the mods that are possible so I decided to create this video and hopefully help some of you guys out! :D

I've modded my one too. I've placed 2 layers of thin foam sheets under the RGB panel. And I've lubed only the QWERTY and the Ctrl, shift, enter and backspace key since I use them most. It makes significant difference by adding foam sheets and lubing the keys. Adding foam piece to the keys will make it li'l more silent but you may not get that RGB light passing through it. Personally I haven't added foam pieces to the keys. Still, it has better difference.

a great video idea would be a series of videos modding popular gaming boards like the corsair k70, razer blackwidow, logitech boards and many more, i actually modded a blackwidow 2014 with kailh box whites and modded pcb and stabs and it sounds insane for looking like a board straight out of 2015

i think it would sound better without the foam in the keycap as it will make it less muted but keeping the keys that require the stabilisers should work fine with it as it gives it a richer acoustic sound

i've used lotion + these steps on a logitech k400+ and now i can work in silence, i mean the keys are a bit harder to push but it's worth it, especially for the spacebar, rightshift and the enter key.
