Hey Mr 650ib, those rotors look so nice man. Can’t wait to see what else is in store for that beautiful bike. I’m on a restricted bike license here in Australia till next year and I will be buying myself a S1000RR once I get off my restricted license. Can’t wait to see the 2019 S1000RR . Keep up the good work mate. Can’t wait to see more SMAKDOWNS!!!

Those rotors are beautiful. Do they come in colors other than the bronze shown here? And if so, is the bronze one of the accent colors you're going with on this build? I can't wait to see more.
@Motomillion6 жыл бұрын
The rotors are actually gold, they only come in gold color. This bike will have some gold accents, such as the Proti gold fasteners.

I had a hard time getting my s1000rr to brake when I first got it. I personally like the HP wheels more. between the HP wheels and the AR exhaust on myn gives that motogp look. those BST wheels are nice though. bike looks beautiful!!! someone is gonna be stoked when they get that thing!

@homehome67396 жыл бұрын
in my opinion, it is a waste of money to buy the carbon fiber wheels if you have the HP wheels. If you have the standard non HP ones then this will make a huge weight difference. But it all depends on the bank account. It is all relative.

Thanks man!!!! How's your V4 treating ya?
@TheSpeedBug6 жыл бұрын
650ib, The V4 is great so far. All around it's a great bike. I am really trying to find things that annoy me and I don't like, and to be 100% honest, there really isn't much. It's great in the corners and lives up the the next generation/ irradiation of bikes from Ducati in my opinion. I haven't had it on the track yet, but plan to soon. I'm sure this is where where this bike is really going to shine and impress me more. I know its still a bit chilly in the north, but when you get a chance, I recommend you test ride one. I think you will be impressed with the bike as a whole. If you haven't already. :) Thanks for asking.

@cbrad60020136 жыл бұрын
Ya but with tires .. the less weight means less rotational force needed .. which means better acceleration.. even buy upgrading to a lighter rear brake disc helps out .. even ceramic bearings.. motor doesn't have to work as hard .. I'm sure pure racers would take any advantage
@Piuriel6 жыл бұрын
Yeah. Pure racers like 650i or Rossi? I'm sure this is just "bling" effect at this point.
@cbrad60020136 жыл бұрын
Łukasz Kowalski I'm sure there are plenty of guys who are going to be wanting to win this bike who are actual racers ... And will take any upgrade that IB is willing to do to the bike ... If you guys think it's lame then don't go in on it lol

Bill Niersbach that is badged as a Cornwell tools torque wrench but it is made by another company. I think you are correct with CDI.

+650ib Ohlins R+T forks and TTX GP shock are about same price as BST wheels and give huge performance gains.... I was more just observing you don’t touch suspension even on your own bikes... not sure why, especially when always complaining about weight.

I know you get all your bikes worked on for you but you really didn’t know how to do a star pattern? Not trying to make fun man I’m glad you were learning it, I’m just surprised. You seem like a guy that would have at least the average automotive enthusiasts knowledge on stuff like that. But good that you’re getting involved and getting an understanding of some of that stuff. Just remember when doing a 5 bolt star pattern, when tightening just think about how you would make a star with just 1 continuous movement of a pencil, bottom left, top, bottom right, top left, top right. Doesn’t matter where you start just picture making a star and hit the bolts in that order, never go to one right next to one you just did
