I always upgrade mids and highs first. I know kids today don't care nothing about sound quality. But I've always made it sound really good then I get the subs. I like beating as hard as possible but still sounds clean.

Wow I'm a kid I'm just 14 I love sound quality bass isnt always my focus I still need to learn what the highs and mid are I think mid are treble and highs are vocals.
@stancarlson2995 Жыл бұрын
I have always done the same . I am 42 now and most people are distortion impaired lol. Back when I was growing up and now. I know some younger people that have systems today and yeah, what is sound quality? 🤣 They just want it to be loud. Doesn't matter if it sounds like shit or not. My friends always want a louder system but they only invest in subs or a newer amp.

I tried that amp previously, and it was a little noisy. It had a hiss that I suppose my brain got used to, and eventually I didn't notice it; but, if I listened, it never went away. But, the music sound easily overpowers it. The punch it had was pretty impressive for being so small and with such low amp draw. I would presume that if used only for highs that the hiss would be even more noticeable.

I just impulse bought an American bass xr10! God knows I didn't need another sub as my NVX vcw 10 is perfect. I had it in a prefab and wasn't satisfied so I built a birch 1.5 cube box with a 3in aero port. it's for my wagon so I'm not into tons of weight and huge boxes which is why I took my mdf aeroport dual massive hippo 8 box out which weighed 100lbs almost. @tx19994 жыл бұрын

@@tx1999 well for simple testing he could use the existing crossover that separates his tweeter in the 6x9's or rear component set and essentially they're just piggybacked with those tweets and that costs him nothing just time and tinkering but yes I would eventually get a set of crossovers which you can pick up fairly cheap or just another amp so he has an additional dedicated channel for them and all components are amplified and adjustable...

It all depends. I have JLs high-end subs and they work better with the JL amps than other amps. The w712" is 3ohm. The slash1200v3 amp plays full power 1-4 ohm. JL is meant to run with JL amps which gets pricey quick.
