Legend! I attempted this without recording but I encountered some problems and gave up, but you did it!

a few title cards which MacOS we're seeing would have really helped, you zip through the installers so fast that it is extremely hard to make out the differences

I thought about that but.. it'd just be too much of a hassle considering there were so many builds :)

Can you upload a real time video (and split it to 12 hour files if this exceeds 12 hours)

What software did you use for each era?
@Win_Ultimate17 күн бұрын
From SS1 to early SS 7.1 I used Mini vMac, then Basilisk II and Sheepsaver until around MacOS 9, then QEMU PPC for the rest! Hope this answers your question.

What software is used for Mac emulation?
@windowsfan9518 күн бұрын
I am guessing Minivmac for Mac OS 1 to Mac OS 7.5.5. Sheepshaver or basilisk II for Mac OS 7.6 to Mac OS 9.0.4. Qemu for Mac OS 9.1 and onwards.

@@windowsfan95 Correct, however for some of the earlier OSX7 betas I had to use Basilisk as they were only available as CDROM releases. Oh and then I had to keep switching between the two as some didn't run or they were released via floppy only...
