Thanks for sharing! I have gradually been doing the same at my church for the past 5 years, mostly removing or bypassing the T-12 ballasts. For years you could buy direct replacement LED tubes for T-8 fixtures but recently tubes are available at Costco that are compatible with either ballast type. I read a cautionary note of shorter life expectancy when used with T-12 ballasts.
