I did the same, had an iPhone 4 and now I have the iPhone 5. The phone speed, if you're real power user, is just so much better.

Apple seems to have the most seamless experience for me. I have android devices and not every app works on every android device and the marketplace gets a little confusing. I like the hardware and software being perfectly matched up and the massive market place on iOS. Don't get me wrong Android kicks ass and certainly is more configurable, etc but for a phone I really enjoy an easier stable experience.

Hard to say just yet, I just started using it. But the extra screen space is night and the screen clarity is noticeably better. It also doesn't seem to bog down when typing really fast on the keyboard like the 4 did sometimes. I would say at this point if you have 4 it's worth the upgrade to get Siri and the bigger screen but if you have a 4S you could probably skip this generation unless you really want the bigger screen.

The iPhone 5 feels like it weighs like half as much as the iPhone 4, I was shocked by that. But the build quality is still rock solid. I owned the original iPhone before the iPhone 4.

It's a larger screen with more pixels, that in itself is an improvement. It would be pointless to create more PPI since the screen is already sharp as it could possibly be to the naked eye being as small as it is.

I thought about an S3 or a Galaxy Note 2. But my experience with Android devices is that they just don't have the same quality of apps as the iOS platform and I just want my phone to work. When it comes to tablets though I love my Nexus 7 even if most of the apps crash all the time.

Because I wanted to use my phone with my numerous music docks I have around the house. $29 is cheaper then a new audio dock :D

I was the same way, I had the iPhone 4 and went to 5, like most people should do. It seems like a lot of people have 4S then go to 5, wasting a lot of money.

not a fan of apple products either. I used to own a 4th gen nano, but once I realized my phone can play music I gave it to my younger brother. Plus when I had the thing, it would randomly reboot on me for no good reason. My current phone is the HTC Thunderbolt for Verizon wireless and currently rooted to Andorid 4.0.1 ICS. works and never misses a beat.

Now that you have the phone for a while can you still tell the difference, Such as in weight, screen size or n e thing. And also was iphone 4 your first iphone? Cuz we all know that when you get an new iphone the old one is useless. Oh yeah thats aluminum on the back

i find it interesting how the new os always slows down the older generation phones. it kinda makes you wonder if there is something behind that.but overall i'm happy with my 4s i might go with android though for my next upgrade since i could use 4g for video uploading. and i dont want to jailbreak my iphone 4 for tethering data. and sprints gotta lock on that with my 4s :( but i cant complain i'm on the family plan for cheap.

I would of figured you for an Android guy and I agree its weird how light and empty the iPhone 5 feels I was playing with one the other day for a few hours I don't know how anyone could use such a shitty os =\ so many more options on android theres so many more steps to doing things on ios.
