how about just dipping the tip of the legs in silicone? (maybe add some black ink)

Maybe just paint on this liquid insulation a couple of times, that stuff's cheap

Oh, thought you'd fix the vibrations with a smoothing algorithm on the output, since it seems to have raw output. I don't know what motors are being used since this is my first time seeing it, but stepper motors are very jerky with their movement, and normal motors have dead zones where they don't want to rest at certain angles caused by the number of copper coils.

I am using servo motors, I think the P gain is too high. They vibrate even when the leg is not moving.

@@TazerEngineering yeah, probably.

when it's done, definitely make one out of metal, especially the legs

Are you running 30kg servos for all the joints? And about how much does it weigh?
@TazerEngineering5 күн бұрын
The total weight is 5 kg. I use some 20kg servos for the coxa joints.

Thank you! It looks awesome. Do you think printing some soft TPU feet would help with your foot issues?
@TazerEngineering5 күн бұрын
@@GrumpleBots No idea, I thought about TPU, but never tried it.

Soviet Russia did it first after the time change.

I want to add many things, but the robot isn't very robust and takes up a lot of my time, so we'll see about that.
