I'd flip the fridge around so that the end that needs ventilation is near the open air instead of being stuffed under the bed. It might run more efficiently that way. Cool vid, thanks!

Nate you sure do have a way of making the best of a really small space!! Simple is always best, and having less stuff makes life easier. 👍🏻

On those plastic drawers I did the basic, drilled a hole in the top edge center and at the bottom edge and used a bungee cord to keep it from coming open while driving.

Excellent. Now the stupid unbearable heat is over for the time being, too! Just be safe with the recent cold that has come early. It was like 47 the other night. You already know to have that sleeping bag ready! Got another year or so until I'm back to nomad life. Bless you, bro!

Add a pull out drawer with two wells under the bed to have your clothes and other items easily accessible instead of in a bag and hang your guitar over your desk

We have the same style cabinets but narrower, they didnt work so great untill i pulled it apart and made it a 2 drawer. Then used the other drawer by itself in another spot under the bed. Did have the extra up right left over (no top) but it made a new wooden top for it. Truck looks great in there. Cool fridge system too.

Perhaps using 2"×2"s you could build a minimal wooden frame for the drawers of which you could reduce the height to your preference and have a more durable frame that can be attached to the wing. Using wood will also allow for a more secure way to 'lock' the drawers in using dowels or bungees. Plastic will crack after awhile so replacing the frame w wood will increase its lifespan. At work I pulled 3 plastic drawers out of the trash and use them in a cabinet to organize my supplies. The frame was broken and I have used the drawers for 3-4 yrs w/o any damage to them. Just a thought

Always found that duel zone fridges. Use heaps more power than a single. Also, I found the freezer space was not enough. I solved that problem by using 2x60 litre fridges. One is a dedicated freezer yet they still about quarter of the power. So then I had another problem. What if I was thirsty when I was driving? I went out and bought myself a 15 L centre console fridge which is only on when I am driving. Your camper is coming on well though.

Couldn’t you just cut a milk crate in a little bigger then the size of rice cooker/air fryer then cut the milk crate and attach it to the wall then return that 3drawer thing?

Good looking fridge/freezer. So light weight & fits like a glove. Do you think the height of the drawer unit will interfere with the air flow from the AC? Good to see you as always Nate.✌️😊
@ElementLife
@ElementLife Ай бұрын
It's a great little fridge! I tested the AC and it seems to be OK, but it's been so mild recently that I haven't had a chance to really see how the drawers affect the temperature inside. Once it gets warmer again I'll know more, but if it does affect it I could always modify the cabinet & remove the top drawer!

The 1 thing i dislike is the wire that connects both your batteries together. It's bulky & takes up space. They should've made it flat & angle the wire behind the battery packs like an L shape

Have you considered ceiling mount “mule bags” instead of cabinets? “Mule” bags are expensive, but you can do the same thing with pet carriers for hundreds of $ less. Several KZbin videos on using them. Really convenient to load gear into bags in the house or garage or laundromat, carry them to camper, and hang on the ceiling mounts. Things stay really organized. You can see through the mesh what’s inside. U shaped zip openings make access super easy, especially if you use a few packing cubes.
