A hook with lateral rotation was my solution to this problem.

One arm pull up is insane

Thanks. I was obsessed with learning it for about a year, It's always gonna be one of my favourite movements I'm sure!

That's literally what I am trying to make, I watched a lot of videos of Devon to get an idea of how it's made, you made it a lot similar to his setup, can you provide dimensions and height of the pulley cable from the table
@mackeystrength Жыл бұрын
Yea for sure, so with the cable pulled down so there’s no slack in the cable, measuring from the ground up, the inside of the clip was about 10 3/8s off the ground and so I wanted the loop on the loading pin to be about 10 3/8s off the ground, but also it sits on top of a piece of square tubing that was 2 inches high so on the loading pin side I put the loop at 8 3/8s. I can try and make a short or something showing it if that’s easier. I still have pictures of the measurements

@@mackeystrength thank's buddy, can you share pictures of the measurement or some drawing you made for reference

@@dakshsaini77 yea for sure, I'll try and get something out as soon as I can

@@dakshsaini77 hey I just created a post with a couple of pictures on it that I had used to reference from when I was building it, hope that gets it across a little more clear!👍🏻

Bro, what’s the height of that metal arm/extension with a pulley wheel in it? Should it be somewhere around the height of your forearm when in wrestling position? When rising for example?

Mine isn’t that much taller than the table top, it’s the one that Ezreal sells. There might be better angles, a lot of pulley systems that the pros use are a little different. I think if it’s something similar you should be fine, I think the bigger variable would be single or dual pulley systems
