Upgrading the door Speakers in my Fiesta ST150

Welcome back to a short install video of some new Alpine door speakers. A simple process of removing the door cards is all that's needed to replace your old standard speakers.

Yeah just got these's with the underseat sub!! Vibes... Only got a focus MK2 green sony headunit. Usb C to Aux for the beats. My extended JDM rear view just shakes like F. Enjoy bro

Thanks for the video tutorial. The Ford Fiesta ST150's door is exactly the same as the 2006 Fiesta WQ or Fiesta MK5. I ordered by mistake a pair of 6.5" speaker and then I realized that it's nearly impossible to fit them in the oval van! Ford did a good job with the door's panels because they're very solid, firm and very well sealed but the oval speaker design really sucks!

Honestly thanks for the vid. I was having a look around for a vid a couple weeks ago and they weren't quite what I wanted, so this was great. Buying those exact speakers tonight, as well as a vibe edb10a, and a new head unit. Bouta have bangin tunes ngl

For some reason my standard speakers in mine sound really good. They are standard too it’s a ghia not sure if they used better speakers from factory

Nice upgrade man and seems fairly cheap to do. I think it's something I could pop on my list for the future. In a way I would like to have the speakers on display by somehow cutting the oval shape out of the plastic mesh. Wonder how that would work though as would probably need some sort of facia once cut?

Yeah bro I'd defo put it on the list of things to be done. Not sure how you'll do that mate, can easily cut away at the door card but making it right and look good will be difficult

Nice upgrade. Wouldn't it of been better to get the higher powered speakers if you know you will change the stereo in the future? I was looking at Kenwood speakers but again similar story Im not sure if I'll change the stereo. You could also fit an underseat sub. Fitted one on mine and doesn't take up space

Yeah mate, think is I don't even think a better stereo will put that wattage out to the speakers without an amp so not worth it. Defo thinking about a sub tho 🤔

When refitting g the door card I do t think it’s say correctly at the top is there any clips at the top I missed or something ?

been a while since you fitted these. How do you rate them? noticable sound improvement over the stand ones? is there more base as the standard ones basically have non haha

Yeah mate think there decent. Can tell a small sound quality difference especially when loud. Think the kind of mid/high tones of songs are better. Cant really tell much with the bass tho 👍

I just fitted these exact ones today with the connector and they sound slightly better but idk. Might be good with a sub installed yet but that’s my next thing. Jason your vids help alot mate

@@ajayxo6712 I do wonder how much better they are. I wonder if going old school having some partial shelf speakers might be better? An old Corsa 2000 reg one I had in my early days I out some Kenwood 6x9 speakers in and the sound was epic

@@DriveWithAndy Andy by the stuff you done to your car with money maybe it’s worth it for you to build a sound system but then again you barely drive it… so no point. I have the same radio as you so my opinion on the speakers is abit better than Jason’s but like he said need a sub to see. But for £30 these alpines are worth it.
