Upgrading The Fuel Pump on the Big Turbo TT | The Holiday Push

Hey Everyone,
Today we are doing all we can to finish the year strong. There isn't too much time before I'll need to re-evaluate the goals I set last year and make new ones, so I figure the best way to prepare is to do as much as possible during this final week. Starting with checking some easy stuff off the TT's list. We also started upgrading the fuel system on the TT in preparation for more boost.

Another nice job ! I did that, and I must confess that understanding how the bracket for the second part was fitted drove me nut. Fortunatly, thanx for the TT community on the net ! The first pump disasembling was to clean up the track sensors, because the reading on the cluster was wrong. Success. And the second pne was to upgrade the pump. Something I did was to empty the reservoir, because having time with the nose smelling the fuel was a nightmare 😵

I also opted for a DW fuel pump but when I was swapping that in I also put in a new fuel filter. The guy who recommended DW said I should replace the filter when you do it. I dunno if it was just my TT but my filter was in fact clogged up. So, after the filter and pump my TT was feeling like a whole different animal lol.

Forgive me because its off topic but i am working on a 1.8t jetta and have been binging your videos for the last week. What is your opinion on doing a evap,sai,n249,pcv delete? Or minimun a evap and sai delete? I am very torn but the simplification of the engine bay is very tempting.

What kind of camera do you use?

I rotate between a couple cameras and lenses depending on the type of shot I want to get. The current A cam is an all manual Blackmagic Cinema Camera. The B cam is a lumix G85. Ive also got a couple specific use cameras like gopros or stabilized Dji. Thank you for the support

It's a cool car. On once it's running how you ld like, I'd like to see headlights, taillights, and rear parcel shelf updates And oem roof racks do exist, you still could make so many more mod videos and enjoy the car all along the way
