i’ve been playing a lot of bethesda games lately, and it genuinely makes me so happy seeing games like CS2 getting all the love they deserve from their developers. bethesda was never really that good at game quality

Preach! ES is my favorite game series of all time. Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim - incredible. However, to this day, even after 11,000 console ports, there’s still insane glitches in Skyrim 🤦‍♂️

Hi ... So I could almost catch up ... If you are crossing a "linear obstacle" (the rail line in this case, could also be a highway or river) with a bridge or tunnel, this is usually an expensive piece of infrastructure in reality, and therefore it is rare. And rare crossings can easily become bottlenecks, that's way 2:37 you discover these traffic jams along Dean St and have to increase the amount of lanes. But just be having that rare crossing, Dean St becomes a main road (even before the lane upgrade) and that is not only true for the section with the tunnel - 9:46 the importance of Dean St continues further, that's way you upgrade this part from 2 to 4 lanes, and I would not even say that 6 lanes up to the school would be an exaggeration. I think, future "rare crossings" will be built again and again - and maybe those should be initially planned as parts of main roads (arterials/collectors). But "rare crossings" of "linear obstacles" could also become less rare if you add new crossings. In this case: 29:44 thea East-West "Linden St" starting at the 2nd passenger rail station and running through the Crestview district label could continue as a tunnel right from the intersection with Hillside St ... connecting right into Hawthorne. This btw would also be a great route for a bus line.

Fantastic feedback and thanks for making this easy to follow. In an upcoming episode (I believe next weeks, not tomorrow) I update Dean Street to a higher capacity road and actually destroy so,e buildings so the 4 lanes travel all the way through Kersey and into Summitt Hill, which I hope will help with traffic. I need to find a way to add some additional connections between Washington Square/Hawthorne and the Crestview/Kersey/higher density “downtown”

"The taxi made the parking lot upset." - WW I'm a simple creature. Give me gasp-zoom edits (Wes Anderson would be proud) and backtalking your past self and I'm happy. I never fully clocked the massive jiggle the buildings do when placing them 😂 I love this game and I think they knew they had to balance the massive pain in the tukus it is with a bit of silly. WAAAAAA the new Wario district is immaculate! Help: benefits of trains vs. subway? I always loved the esthetic of subways and that they are hidden. Trains are lovey, but do they move more people?

Not sure if trains move more people that subways but the main benefit of the subways is the smaller footprint of the sunken station. Once we build out the subways we can see if there’s a difference in ridership for sure!
