Software developer here, I think this is a great start I got a ton of ideas on how to turn this into a SaaS. I think you could fully automate the entire process by leveraging an image generator api like dalle 3, or stability api, and use chat gpt to generate prompts and product descriptions + titles.

Alek! I would love your opinion. My etsy shop sells items both handmade and print on demand with Family Crests on them. There are thousands of crests and some shops post one product for every single crest they have designed ever and then 10 products so like 8000 listings. I have gone the other route of having tons of products but each order is custom designed each time (unless I already have that name made) so that each listing gets more sales total rather than spreading out the sales rank between 8k listings. Which do you think is smarter?

Why does everyone use PNG and not SVG for POD ai images? Also why not include svg in your uploaded? With PNG can you have to high of a DPI?

it works well for a bit but now i keep getting errors. ill just wait for updates. Great idea for a tool though and cant wait to see it get better. Error I keep getting says "Failed to post to printify: reasons:" no reason is given. tried with 1 image and multiple images. trying to do mugs. it worked for the first 8 i did then just stopped.

Fantastic. Thank you. So basically we should have a Product Template set up in Printify (mug, sticker, tshirt...etc....) will the appropriate dimensions, pricing, description, etc...), correct? Then the Uploader will apply the designs to those Product Templates (retaining the production details), and they will be ready for Publishing.

Alek, this looks to be very nice... however I am confused on how to use a mug mockup created in photoshop (or elsewhere) in a Printify product (or with your program). It appears you can upload your own background to a product mockup, but how do you create and use a custom mockup that has the real Printify product?... maybe you just get close to the product in a mockup you purchased and use that as the background, but will this show up properly in Printify without showing two photos of the mug? (one from the Printify mockup and one from the custom background/mockup you uploaded). thanks in advance, I love your channel!

Mine doesn't seem to be uploading any files it just proceeds to publish and file settings is greyed out 😢 Edit: I tried again and used different images for ornaments and it is uploading. It's pretty picky, but I'll play with it.

Looks like it could be a pretty awesome time saver............if it worked. It doesn't duplicate the settings from the duplicated listing. If I put in 40 pics for new artwork, it might do 15 of them at random, then I have to go back and figure out which ones were uploaded.
