Professor Jeremy Bailenson will discuss the metaverse - what it’s good for and what it’s not good for, by focusing on data from 600 Stanford students who bravely donned headsets for months over two years. He’ll also discuss nonverbal behavior, avatar identity, and what it means to be in spacious, outdoor places…virtually.
