Thrilling news about possibility of building Stanford-like university in Ukraine. I'd suggest Sevastopol as climate there is mild and there will be lots of vacant land after Black Fleet is kicked out of there.

On a different note. I am looking very much forward to the many universities that will be built in Ukraine. I could offer more predictions, but this as a basis needs to sink in. Then the expanse of it can be alluded to.

It's so important that when Ukrainians have regained their country which of course includes The Crimea that normal relationships are not remade with Russia. Normal relations can only be commenced after Russia has paid full reparations to Ukraine plus they have had normal and fair democratic elections . Putin must also have had to been tried in the Hague along with all others in his regime for war crimes. Until all these criteria are met Russia must stay a pariah and be a lesson to all other dictatorships that aggression will not pay.

Absolutely. After Putin violated the various accords he made with Ukraine, including the Minsk and Budapest accords, he has lost all credibility. Anyone engaging in negotiations with him is worse than Chamberlain.

A small addition to this great video. I live in Ukraine and have many friends and relatives in Poland. And they are really scared because of the possibility of russia winning and a new war in Poland. They are so scared that some of them already bought apartments in other countries in western Europe to have a plan B. When I speak to them I understand that many people in Europe will be ready to negotiate with russia (and China) and do anything to avoid a new war. And I bet it will lead to a huge political changes in EU because of the growth of people who will vote for politics who will make a new peace with russia (and China). And it's really hard to predict the consequences for EU-US relationships but I think pro-russian and pro-China EU is not what US would like to have. My understanding of this situations is having Ukraine not occupied by russia is good for all democratic countries.

Think Michael meant our modern history--say, post 1900. Don't think UK or Mexico were exactly dictatorships.
@TheEvertw
@TheEvertw 5 ай бұрын
They were dictatorships when the USA fought them. The UK became a democracy only in 1832, 20 years after their last war with the USA, and Mexico had relapsed into dictatorship in 1846 under Santa Anna. It premanently became a democracy in 1855. It would be interesting to map how fast dictatorial countries defeated by the USA became democracies, as there does seem to be a correlation.

This amoeba so called Professor Michael Mcfaul is what is wrong with US foreign policy. Ex US Ambasador in Russia now negates he has something to do withh faled recomendations for President of Ukraine Volodimir Zelenski. He negates due to failure of Ukrainian/US/West side to win war against Russia. And this is shamefull , since his recomendations leg to insane number of dead and maimed Ukrainian soldiers in less than 2 years. He said and i quote " I am just a proffessor that is far from everything, very far" end of quote. This is scandalous since he "forgot " he is HEAD of "the expert" group that developes and provides "recomendations" for Presiden of Ukraine Zelenski....Group is even called "Group Yermak -McFaul" .And Zelenski has met with this clown 4 months ago in Kyev.... But since all failed and so called "experts" cant lie about it they now run from sinking ship like all rats do....criminal enterprise.

Zelenskyy is running out of cannon fodder. Western allies are running out of ammo. Zelenskyy offensive proved to be an epic unmitigated disaster . Russians rejected any freeze of the conflict. Putin spokesperson said quite bluntly that all Russian goals had to be met (denazification, demilitarization and a neutral status of Ukraine). At this point unconditional surrender is the only practical solution for Ukraine. Hitler's Germany also refused to admit defeat until Hitler killed himself, then Keitel signed unconditional surrender.

Ukraine is winning. Really is that simple. This is why Ukraine in fact *IS* being supported...to Victory as appears now imminent and beyond even that. Of course in the alternative support Israel if you can't handle Ukraine Support...what could go wrong with that! I know i support Israel at the expense of all life existing on the entire Planet and love it! *DON'T YOU?*
