A common symptom or complaint from most patients we see with cervical dysstructure is difficulty breathing. This could be always feeling out of breath, difficulty taking a deep breath, feeling like something is stuck in the throat, air hunger, sleep apnea, or other breathing problems. In this video, Dr. Hauser discusses upper airway resistance syndrome. While this may not be the primary complaint that drives most patients to seek care, it is found to some degree in the majority of neck instability cases we treat. Fortunately, this is also a symptom that can typically resolve with treatment.
