@@Piggypuggyyes, please visit again and try those that I’ve suggested. Do note that the wantan mee I mentioned usually sold out before noon and they are closed on Mondays. Fishball noodles only open 4 days per week. Can’t remember exactly which days coz it’s odd. But I remember that they’re open on Saturdays and Sundays. Appam… I dunno. Also opened on weekends.

@PiggyPuggy you need to redo this place. You missed out some of my favourite stalls there… 1st is Zao Dao Shu Shi selling wantan mee. I think we belong to the same age group. I also like mee kia. Occasionally, I will go for their kway teow. The pork lard just make the kway teow extremely delicious. Next, is a stall named APPAM selling appam. My favourite is the red beans ones. Eat it while it is still hot, you will appreciate the crispiness of its edge. Finally, it’s Seng Kee fishball noodles. Go for their mee kia too. Think they add both pork lard and shallots in the noodles. I like the mild sweetness in their sauce. By the way, the kopi stall that you film usually have a queue but their hands and legs are quick. So you don’t have to wait too long in the queue. If you happen to order soft boiled eggs from them, you can ask them to de-shell for you if you don’t want to get your hands dirty. I think it may be more convenient for you with a video cam in one hand. 😅 Please try them and let me know your thoughts!

That "fruit," 🤔...some called it noseberry, some called it, mudapples and we called it.....chiku. Used to pluck it and left it in the rice urn for ripening....fibrous but sweet. Yes, indeed. Prior to Covid, did lots research online hawker centres but lovely to see your delightful videos showing as in 'real life', capturing the real atmosphere. We couldn't really stand around watching, hawkers be thinking we 'mental' or something!!!!

Haha.. truth of the matter is... Cases had recently exploded in SG with quite a few hawker centres closing for 2 weeks for deep cleaning. I was monitoring the situation as I didn't wanna be a risk to myself or others. But it's been more than a week.. and cases hasn't been coming down. It now almost seems like the new norm as the government cannot contain the random spread anymore

Is there any good SIngapore or Malaysian food restaurants in London? Lived in Australia years back and all I get is Aussie influenced Asian food. Plum sauce duck.. sweet lemon chicken.. Kuu Lou Yok.. and washing it down with some Chardonnay or Cab Sav with the sizzling beef 😅 it’s still nice.. I still frequent these when I’m back.. but it’s just not Singki Singki enough for me. Always had to visit Asian Kitchens for some overpriced chicken rice 😂🤣

Sorry, just seen this. Not really good M'sian, S'porean restaurants in London. Probably not enough demand Central London (lots other eateries about); suburbia, people not experienced this type cuisine will not try. Pity S'pore about 11 - 12 hrs flight, if 2 hr flight, even worth it for short weekend just for food!!!! Have a very good week!!!
