@elizabethquintal8883 жыл бұрын
Lucky people who live in Whampoa. 2 hawker centers in an area, wow! Seems like a few of the hawkers have to relocate. That must be difficult especially when it is not close to where you live. Nice of the Rojak hawker to prepare separate bags of rojak sauce. Good idea for use later so your ingredients won't be soggy. Lime slices a nice touch, never seen it added as an ingredient. Love that ginger torch flower buds. He added a whole lot of sugar though and tons of peanut. Peanuts here in CA are not cheap...very generous with the sauce. I like the you tiau as well, pineapple and bangkwang. A Vietnamese lady making Thai food, that's a first? Great wok hei skills, looks delicious!!!😜 Dan Dan Mien is actually one of my favorites and the lady making dumplings, wow, two at a time. How expedient! Chinese Nasi Lemak must be the best as they offer you so many ingredients to choose from. Yes, I love that crunchy fried anchovies and peanuts too. I would have a hard time selecting as everything looks good, even otah otah, whoohoo! All the food you featured look so goooodddd! What I have to give up being a vegetarian, but at least I can recreate some of it. Ohhhhh, chendol is my all time favorite. Thanks Puggy for another great video...have a great weekend.👍👏😁

Happy Weekend to you Liz. Yeah.. that Rojak’s been famous since way back.. so kind of him to let me see how he does it. Was surprised there were lime bits in it. Peanuts not cheap in CA? 😅 gotta produce your own then. Nasi lemak looks so good.. I always salivate while editing it 😂 coz I didn’t get to eat it while I’m there. Try to create your own Chendol 😋 should be fun for a party

Thanks for featuring my local/favourite hawker centre! This section gets much busier later in the day and during the night time. The other side of Whampoa Hawker, next to the wet market, also has many great places for breakfast and lunch. It also has one hawker who does an amazing fish hot pot at dinner. I recommend you also try that one.
@Piggypuggy3 жыл бұрын
Haha.. yeah. When I was there.. many were just setting up the stalls. Most open around 12. Will definitely be back to try other stuff. The fish hot pot is the ones facing the inside lane around the corner?
