Varieties of tasty dishes can be prepared by using tender jack, which is seasonal. Today I show you how to prepare pickle by using tender jack. This can be stored only for 7-10 days. Tender jack pieces are cooked by adding salt and tamarind. Tamarind is added must, because tender jack doesn't have it's own sour taste. For masala I added fried red chillies, mustards, hing and methi seeds. This is made a paste with saturated salt water. This masala paste is mixed with cooked tender jack pieces. Pickle tastes good with rice and rice porridge. Better to prepare in less quantity, as it has the shelf life of very few days.
Ingredients:
Tender jackfruit
Spicy Dry red chilli 100grms
Mustard seeds 50grms
Methi seeds 2sp
Hing
Salt
Water
Staturated salt water
