One of the best and most underrated punk bands ever

@John H I don't know. I discovered Upright Citizens in the eighties and I have no clue about what have been said about this band since then.

I've seen them live 4 times, and they were extraordinary. The singer was an incredible frontman

I heard What Are We Gonna Do Now back in 1985 on a radio station, KSPC out of La Verne College in CA ( College radio stations seemed to be the only ones playing punk back then, and still are for the most part). I only remembered a few of the lyrics but I would randomly search for the song since then ( no joke) and finally found it! LOL! Still bad ass as ever and still has the same awesome feeling and meaning! Thanks man!

Were they with BYO for this album? Love the remnants of 70s punk here. They were a bit metalzed and were possibly one of many precursors of full blown thrash. Great, perfect punk for those with a social conscience. Just awesome! Like this better than their next album even though the first one I heard was "Open...." They were one of the reasons my adolescence was tolerable. Lol
